It's like Uber to pets. All depends on the driver, and mine Adam Byrd, was awesome. Got our cats across the country safely, fast and without bureaucracy. Way easier than using the airlines services.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Matt took our dog from Atlanta to Boston. He clearly cares deeply about great service and the animals he transports. He was flexible, communicative and helpful. I’d recommend him to anyone!

Doesn’t do anything or refund based on experience

I booked Washburn and Wall for transport of my dog thru Citizen Shipper. I paid a $600 deposit up front. They did not show up to drive the dog on the day scheduled and when I tried to get a refund, disappeared. Their website, now, no longer exists. Although Citizen Shipper refunded their $149 broker fee, I'm out the $600 deposit I paid to them to book the service. They claim no responsibility for the company that I hired thru their site but state that they have blocked them from future business. This does not help me. Their customer service representatives are very nice, so I gave them 2 stars, but I feel that there should be some insurance or accountability from CitizenShipper on the companies they are referring people to. This was a complete loss and rip off and I would never use again as you can't trust any of the reviews or other information that is posted. It was all false and fake. It is basically just luck of the draw so you might as well go on Facebook or other places to find a service and save yourself the $149 fee. Not sure what that is being paid for.

Citizen Shipper doesn't do anything if you get scammed out of money. A potential customer decided to cancel last minute and I had to pay payment processing fees and the client disputed the partial refund I gave which was just enough to cover the fees and my time. It was extremely reasonable considering the late cancelation. Citizen shipper does not take the money from the client. The amount drivers/clients pay to be on the site is ridiculous considering that all it is literally a website for transports but it offers no security or anything of value. I have an average of 5 star rating and I don't even find enough transport options on the site. It just seems like capitalist BS only focused on money.

Please read my last reviews for the details of a terrible experience I have had with CitizenShipper. You will see they responded saying someone would reach out to me. That was 7 days ago. As I stated, this is a company who pushes out public facing and face saving responses while doing absolutely nothing behind the scenes. CitizenShipper - I wonder why you have not yet reached out to me to resolve my issue as you committed to in my Trust Pilot review?
