CitizenShipperReviews of citizenshipper.com

Very bad experience, do not trust the reviews. Company allows dishonest and dangerous people to work for them as drivers. Our driver lied constantly, never updated us about the progress of the transport, put our cats with dogs in a tiny van even after i specifically asked if there would be other pets. Worst of all, our cats weren't fed or watered properly over the course of 4 days and both have lost a few pounds. After contacting Citizenshipper about this, nothing was done, the driver is still allowed to work for them. I want to warn other pet owners, do not fall for reviews and please try to find a different way to ship your pets. The drivers name is Donald Wells with TCE Xpress.

I got quotes almost immediately and the site was easy to use. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for great results

Just want to let the world know what a great job Shawn did in transporting our Taylor from Texas to Connecticut. Stayed in touch with us and sent photos through the entire trip. Taylor arrived in great shape do to Shawn's loving and tender care. My wife and I appreciate everything he did. I would highly recommend him for transporting your pet any where in the USA. Thanks Shawn!

I found a driver on the CitizenShipper site, and paid her in-full at her request weeks in advance, in order to secure our transport date. This was going to be a transport of our 8 week old puppy. On the day of the scheduled transport, the driver texted me to tell me that her vehicle wasn’t working and she would have to reschedule. I ended up having to cancel plans and drive 10 hours that day, during and after which time the driver refused to refund my $350 via PayPal, check, cashiers check, etc.. CitizenShipper not only listened to every detail of the scenario, they also helped me navigate the battle to get my money back, and were in communication with PayPal throughout the claim process. Of greater comfort to me is that upon reviewing the case, due to her suspicious and fraudulent behavior, this driver was rightfully permanently denied access to their site. I dealt directly with a customer service representative named Mara Alvarez, who over the course of 2 weeks, was absolutely wonderful, helpful, highly professional, and extremely timely. A+ for customer service!

I had an excellent courier's experience with Max. He's very responsible, pick up my bike in NY Saturday night and dropped it in NC on Sunday morning. I will use his service and refer him to all my friends and family. Thank you for bringing my Harley Davidson back home!! God Bless you Max!!! Don

This website is very user friendly and helped me get connected to a transportation company extremely fast! Will go through CitizenShipper again!

This was my first time using a transport company and CitizenShipper made the process very easy. I submitted my trip and the bids started coming in. The website was easy to navigate and made sorting through offers very easy. In the end, I chose Happy Bones Transport to carry two German Shepherd puppies to their new homes some 900+ miles away, and I couldn't be happier. I'm extremely satisfied with the service provided by CitizenShipper and Happy Bones Transport and would highly recommend both to anyone looking to ship a pet!

ThIs company post fraudulent reviews, please beware when deciding to use citizenshiper as they will not let you post an honest/low review. I did numerous research on pet carrier services but ultimately chose CitizenShipper because of the company reviews. I felt confident that my dog would be transported with no issues, so I paid the deposit, spoke with my carrier on numerous occasions, and confirmed my trip through follow-up messages. I received a cancellation from my carrier on the evening before my shipment, which was a Friday night. My military move, flight arrangements, and children school attendance was ruined by the carrier. There is no customer service phone number to speak with anyone, so there is no immediate remedy other than resubmit a new shipment, pay and, hope that you get a forthright carrier. There is only email, which doesn't help a one day deadline. In my case, The driver used an excuse stating that her vehicle was being repaired. However, her profile shows her making a delivery within the same time frame. Its apparent that she wanted to move my appointment around to make more money. After a very tormented and agonizing experience with this company, I wrote a review which I noticed wasn't posted. When I asked (in an email) what happened to my review. I was told that since the carrier notified me, it didn't count against her. I don't get a chance to post a review. I thought that was the most unprofessional and insensitive thing I had ever heard being that my shipment was canceled on extremely short notice with no way to recover. I explained to the company that since I'm not able to post an honest review, then I will use other platforms to warn innocent people of citizen's misleading practices. CitizensShippers did not take time to do a thorough investigation of the carrier. She stated that her car would be serviced and running three days later. However, the carrier profile shows that she delivered another pet within a two day time frame from my delivery. If the carrier was having car problems, then no deliveries would be made within one, two, or three days. Like I stated, Its apparent that she wanted to move my appointment around to maximize her route and make more money. And for CitizensShippers to support carriers like this, is a shame. I would steer away from companies that use unethical practices to boost their reputation.
