This site came in clutch! The airline told us that we could fly with our animals then said no 10 days before the day of travel. I happened to fall upon this site and it was a Godsend. It ended up being less expensive than the cost of doing pet cargo via the airline. I will definitely recommend this site to anyone who needs this service.

False advertising, and using people that should not be on the road transporting animals
I just spoke to their customer service representative three years ago. There’s a company called JAZZY that lost my Papillon three years ago in the snow I was assured that the company would be removed and banned. I logged in yesterday to purchase a new puppy and lo and behold, JAZZY contacted me trying to do the transport unaware that I’m the same person that they lost my dog three years ago the support agent basically said that they’re under a review that they didn’t do anything yet. The company is lying to people saying that they will take care of their dog like is it was their child yet they lost my dog. I would highly recommend staying away from JAZZY and citizenshipper.com.

First, let me say my review is not of the actual shippers or the company as a whole, but the idiotic way they send quotes from people who are states away! If I'm literally going pick up 40 minutes from me, why are you sending me quotes from people in another state??? 450 to go pick up a cat is literally a flight round trip with the pet fee!!!
If you do not have anybody in the local area, then just say that. If somebody has to drive to Louisiana from Alabama, of course they're going to want money for it... Totally get that, but the website should not even send me anybody who's not in the local area. So I've dealt with them before for local rides and they're amazing, but their system of pet shipping is horrible. I personally fly myself to deliver pets, and it's absurd that they're charging the same amount of a round trip flight and usually about $150 for the pet fee to go from New Orleans to LaPlace. You don't need USDA certification to go pick up a pet, I'm sorry I do this monthly. That is just ridiculous, and not required for domestic pets when the liability falls on the breeder. FYI, cats and dogs 8 weeks or less DO NOT HAVE TO BE VACCINATED!!! Another lie!
Uber is a third of that rate, so operations and marketing need to be evaluated, because they're losing clients because of this. If someone can take an Uber for a third of the rate that you're charging them, they're going to take the freaking Uber. The quotes need to be coming from people within 30 miles of where the pet is at.
It's just unorganized completely, and this really is a no-brainer. If you do not have people in a select area, just say that. No one's going to pay $500 for something they can get for $110 LOL.
I had a client pay nearly $1,800 from Louisiana to Chicago, when I could have delivered her pet all the way to Nigeria for that in a first class seat and a hotel room.
So, I do recommend this company for local rides and their lovely drivers, but that's about it. I have an MBA with a concentration on marketing, and this is just the most asinine thing I've ever seen in my life. I could literally hire a personal driver for half the rate some of these people are asking, so maybe that is what they should be doing.

I booked with them to get my puppy…
I booked with them to get my puppy delivered from Illinois to West Virginia, and once I paid the booking fee, the deliver change the price and she went by a completely different name than what was listed on citizenship and had a lot of bad reviews on Facebook and when I took it to their customer service, they basically told me oh well and refused to give me a refund for the booking so I’m just out $169. I will never use this company or recommend it.
