I wanted to transport a puppy from Pittsburgh to Boston. I was bombarded with offers to this for $650 or more, in addition to the $120 fee CitizenShopper charges for using their website. I decided that it was more economical to just fly (first class) the pup myself for much less. Please be careful! When I told one of the so-called transporters (2 Chicks and a Van) that I didn't think their service was what I wanted, I received a very rude response. Why? And she then went on to tell me that I probably couldn't afford them anyway. Unbelievably rude!

First time using this site for ground shipping a dog. We were returning a four month old to the breeder & didn’t want to ship air cargo. Very good experience. Posted my request & within minutes had multiple bids. Our choice was very professional, punctual & communicated every step of the journey. Pup arrived happy & safe. Recommend using this service.
