Recently was hurt in a home accident working on a ladder . Went to my primary care doctor was told I should get an mri to assess the damage to my back . The mri was rejected by Cigna insurance . After paying ( out of pocket for the mri , I had severe damage to my L5 S1 With bulging disc on L2,34,5with the worst at L4andL5S1with severe narrowing of the paraminal canal . Went to an orthopedic surgeon who recommended surgery to remove bone rubbing on my sciatic nerve causing excruciating pain from hip to bottom of foot . This operation coverage was also denied . Cigna is the closest thing to not having insurance as a person can get . The worst company I have ever had insurance with. It’s completely worthless ! There should be negative ratings for the cruelty this organization employs in deciding authorization of coverage . Disgusting people !

Me deben un pago desde hace 1 mes y medio y no pagan. Me inventaron excusas de todo tipo, me inventaron que habían enviado el pago y nunca se hizo, luego de mes y medio me dijeron que nunca lo habían enviado porque su sistema había tenido problemas y que me lo volverían a enviar. Luego de esperar el supuesto envío, me envían el primer recibo de pago como justificante de pago, si, aquél pago que ELLOS me dijeron que no habían realizado porque su sistema no los había procesado. Un desastre, no la recomiendo, espero se ahorren disgustos

They do a lot of problems when they need to pay for the reimbursement to the point that my fisio now does not want to take me as a patient because he already knows that I will come back to him to correct x or y, something that does not happen to him with other providers like DKV, Adeslas, ecc. Basically their strategy is to annoy everybody in order to make everybody to think twice any time you want to use their services.

Worst customer service! Tried to pay back overpaid accounts and I am really struggling to give them my money. Can’t seem to take credit card payments.

Been trying to resolve a few claims for over five months. Phone representatives blatantly lie and do not speak English. Have been told 10 business days my issue would be resolved for months on end. Truly impossible to find someone helpful who speaks English. Edit- I have been communicating through that email address and have not been helped. Give me another option.

AVOID AVOID AVOID Their consultants give wrong info on the phone. I discovered in my 1500 outpatient allowance were included also all test. I had an accident and practically after initial consultation and tests I had to pay all by myself. Subsequently i had my operation- they don’t cover all the cost. Their cover is so low, they you always have to add huge sums of money. Now, i have to pay all my post op consultations, physio - nothing is covered, as with my pos accident test I exceeded 1500 annual allowance. Even if I am insured, i will have to pay in total several thousands of £ to complete my cure. I am not able to ho to other consultants until my 1 year ends. They even approved some small procedures but nobody told me that i have to pay for all by myself. It is like not having any insurance. 1500£ it not even enough for 1 specialist and tests or something serious like my accident. They look for any excuse to not to pay and the coverage is unrealistically low. The call centre gives you always different and wrong information. Absolutely waste of time and money. Will be discussing with my hr to change it as it costs me thousands and it is a legalised scam.

CIGNA gives your information to third-party telemarketers who then contact you repeatedly even though they have been asked to stop multiple times. This is a privacy violation and I do not contact violation. I’ve reported them to every federal agency. They will not stop. I receive phone calls and physical mail from CIGNA third-party vendors constantly. Get any other insurance company but these people.

Terrible company avoid at all costs.
