I have got a health insurance cover with Cigna UK through my employer since 2019. I have recently made a claim for knee injury and was satisfied with the process. I booked a consultant of my choice at the BMI London Independent Hospital and all costs were covered. I am totally satisfied.

Missy helped me with everything I needed and more. She was beyond polite, personable, helpful, and caring. I was amazed by the help she provided finding not only one specialist that met my needs, but two in two different fields. 5 stars aren't enough to cover her support.

I had Cigna for 9 years with my employer and, while no insurance company is amazing, Cigna was pretty good for me. They did all the usual things most of them do like making you do additional work, pushing you back to your doctor when something is billing wrong, and giving the run around. But I have a lot of preventative services annually with a BRCA mutation and MRIs and Ultrasounds for screening and they were good. Also, their negotiated fees were much more open and honest than others and seemed to be better rates. They have an easy to use app and website that I was able to use often to check claims and EOBs. Recently, my employer switched us to Anthem and, having compared the two, Cigna is tops. Anthem has a "group" thing where I can't even change my phone number on the website without calling my employer first - yes - my cell number can't be updated without a call. Their customer service reps can't give me answers to costs for standard things like vaccines even when I only asked for the allowable maximum they said they didn't know. I submitted a claim myself that sat for 30 days with no progress and when I called they couldn't find it and took forever even when I was looking at it in the queue on my customer login page. Cigna was MUCH better. More efficient. And cheaper. I miss them.

I have Cigna HealthSpring Part D pharmacy coverage and absolutely love it. The company is easy to reach and get a human on the phone quickly. They have assisted me in getting the best prices on my medications. I have been with company for 6 years now and can not say enough about how well they have treated me. If it were not for Cigna HealthSpring and their most recent attention to an issue I had (and resolving it quickly, efficiently and to my benefit), I fear I would not be walking right now. Huge THANK YOU!

I am so impressed with the willingness of Cigna to offer cover for treatments. Even when it has not been stated in the policy that certain things are covered, the staff and nurses have gone above and beyond to see what they can do to help, and eventually even offering cover on things they did not have to. My experience in the past with insurance providers is that they make it as difficult as possible to claim and have clauses and small print that means very little cover is actually provided, indeed my sister has health insurance with Bupa and this is her experience exactly. So I didn't have high expectations for Cigna. However I was absolutely amazed and so impressed with their service- I highly recommend to others.
