Terrible, definitely the worst; the same as nothing
Terrible. As part of my company's benefits, I have access to Cigna DentaCare level 4. Or at least I should. I tried to register into their website last yearusing the cigna ID number I received from them in an email, but with no success. Since I didn't need dental care at the time, I put it aside. Now that I do need it, I've been trying to register for a month. And by that I mean: I tried, I couldn't, I contacted them; they take a week to reply back every time, and their replies are completely useless, requesting either data you already provided or asking you to attempt things you already tried with no success and that you already told them you tried in the previous messages. I can't use my plan and their customer support is the worst I've seen from any company.

Greed wins the day
As with other reviews I would advise anyone not to deal with Cigna if they are hoping for a compassionate caring company they are purely greed orientated. Like a few on here I took out an AA Hospital Plan well over 30 years ago. They wrote to say that they are withdrawing the product with no concern or obligation to clients and what their position is. Obviously they took over this plan knowing that there was a clause that entitled them to abandon these long term clients. Absolutely shameful. Advise anybody and everyone to steer clear of their associated products

I have had a terrible time trying to…
I have had a terrible time trying to get CIGNA to pay for my claim for dental treatment. I rang the company before the treatment to explain it had to be done in two parts a few months apart and making sure I could claim for both parts which they confirmed.
They have now refused to pay the second part leaving me extremely stressed and with a large bill to pay myself
They doubled my premiums this year but are not willing to act ethically. They want the money from you but not to pay you when you claim
They also refused to pay for my daughter's hygienist treatment after promising on the phone to do so on the phone as it was clearly part of her dental plan.
It is clear they will try to wriggle out of any payment they can even after they have agreed to pay.
Their promises and assurance are worth nothing when it comes to paying out
I would avoid at all costs!

Cancelled Lloyd’s Bank Hospital Cash plan
Cigna bought my Lloyd’s Bank Hospital Plan from another company. I have now received a letter saying they are cancelling the policy because they are no longer going to offer this type of policy. The real reason is that the policy is a fantastic policlike acsavings plan that the payouts rise faster than the premiums and it doesn’t make Cigna as much profit as their other plans. Then you should never have bought the plan in the first place! I had built up a substantial payout should I have to go into hospital and you’ve just cancelled it without thought! Having read reviews about this company on the net, no one has a good word to say about them. Shame on you Cigna!

CIGNA DOES NOT COVER ADVANCED CANCER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cigna have suddenly stopped providing care for me - I'm now a terminal cancer patient (previously I was Stage 3) and because their policy stops once the cancer metastasizes, I cannot get the life-saving treatment I need. NHS won't provide it either as it's not yet approved in the UK.
Basically, Cigna have given me a death sentence. With treatment, my survival is around 50%, but without it, I'm at 10%.
This companies KILLS PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely discussed with the attitude…
Absolutely discussed with the attitude of profit over customer care!!.
I called Cigna ref a procedure that would take about 30 mins and questioned twice how much it would cost as I have medical cover via my employer, I was told the cost would be and excess of £150, I even asked again so my total invoice would be £150 and yes as the response, my procedure took place in late December and all was well, I later received an invitation to remove some stitches in the first week of January and once again all was fine until I received another invoice for £150!!!, as you can imagine I was very upset as the cost of removing the stitches was under this excess, I called Cigna and asked why I had received another invoice to be told "it in your terms and conditions", I explained that yes it maybe but due to the amount of very small print as I call it I had not seen such a statement, I also explained that the representative I spoke to knew when I would be going in and could have explained this lope hole, T&C whatever you want to call it and I would have arranged to have the procedure in the new year, end result I pay £150 to have a very small mole removed in December and because the stiches came out in the first week of January I was forced to pay another £150, shocking customer service and just wanted to hide behind their T's and C's, the company I work for use Cigna as a company benefit so as you can imagine I will not be promoting their services to anyone I come in to contact with and my feedback as been requested which I will most certainly give.
Very unhappy customer
