I wanted to have a working relationship with Ciao Italy, but feel I don't get detailed information in a timely matter. I feel the staff is overworked and not interested in new business.

Joining the Semi Private Vatican tour(skipping the line) with Ciao Italy & Carrani Tours was one of the best ideas. Our guide Patrizio was absolutely fantastic, enthusiastic and a wealth of knowledge. The tour was the perfect length and covered all of the areas I had expected to see.We had seven people in our group which was easily manageable for our fabulous guide. He had an amazing storehouse of knowledge of art and history and kept us fascinated for the full three hours of the tour. There is no better way to see the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel than to have an expert guide you through, and Ciao Italy & Carrani Tours certainly qualify. Would recommend this tour to anyone planning a visit to the Vatican. I would highly recommend this tour it went off without a hitch for us and was worth every second. Thanks Ciao Italy & Carrani Tours for a great tour and a great experience. This tour is highly recommended for those who love History and Religion, despite of your Religion inclinations.

Great service. Very punctual and professional. Good English. Only complaint is that the drivers regularly checked their phones for texts, etc., while driving.

We went to Italy for 3 1/2 weeks and were extremely satisfied with all arrangements, hotels, drivers, tour guides, etc. Used Ciao Italy on Staten Island and Jennifer was wonderful to work with.

Our two week private tour of Italy which we have named the "Mercedes Benz", was orchestrated by Guido D'Ugo, General Manager of Ciao Italy Tours and was flawless from the moment we were picked up in Rome by Maurizio, our driver and guide for the next two days until he dropped us off at the gorgeous five star Hotel Brufani in Perugia. The Stendahl Hotel in Rome was very new and perfectly located at the bottom of the Via Sistina, two blocks from the Spanish Steps with a view from our window of the Bernini Fountain. The wonderful bartender at the hotel made dinner reservations for us and actually walked us from the hotel to the front door. We cannot say enough great things about the guides we had throughout the tour - from Maurizio, Elisabetha in Perugia and our driver, Alessio, Eduardo in Siena and all of the local guides at the various wineries and specialty tours we experienced in and around Bologna and Emilia Romagna. The Royal Hotel Carlton in Bologna and The Athena in Siena were perfectly located for walking these great cities. Our car rental was seamless and we found that driving in Italy was not as daunting as the roads are very well kept and even though the driving is fast, we found navigation was very easy even finding the drop off in downtown Rome. There is not a thing I would change about this fabulous 14 days ... November is a wonderful time to visit as the crowds are gone except for Rome and Autumn in Italy is magnificent. We will be back and Ciao Italy Tours will be orchestrating another adventure for us.

It was easy to plan and the tours started on time. Was well worth the private tours.
