We can hear how stressful and serious this situation is for you, and we’re truly sorry that you’re dealing with something that feels so overwhelming. Situations involving drug testing, probation requirements, and prescription medications can be incredibly complex. In many cases, standard immunoassay urine screens can show unexpected results, and confirmatory testing (such as GC/MS) is typically required to determine the exact substance present. Because of the legal and clinical implications, providers must follow strict medical and regulatory guidelines regarding what they can and cannot certify in writing. That said, we understand that from your perspective, you needed support in a very urgent moment  and feeling like that support wasn’t there is understandably upsetting. Your feedback is important, and we take concerns like this seriously. We strongly encourage anyone in a similar situation to request formal confirmatory lab testing and to work closely with the testing authority to ensure accurate results are documented.
