I enjoyed the Thailand part of the trip a lot!!!!! I didn’t enjoy China at all. The only thing we did for 4 days was go to factory stores where we were high pressured into buying things. The ONLY sightseeing we did in China was to tour one 12th century home. That’s it. You get what you pay for I guess.

Never a dull moment! Did get a bit tired of eating the same food all the time. We were assigned a table and ate with the same people all the time - would have liked to change up a bit. The cruise was amazing! AND, the acupuncturist on board was amazing too!

We booked with Intertrips - the lower-priced subsidiary of ChinaTour. The difference between the two is Intertrips requires heir tourists to stop at different places (Jade factory, silk factory, etc.) where you tour the facility, and hopefully buy something overpriced) and then have your included lunch. There was never any pressure to buy anything. All of the hotels, tours, and meals were very good. The only problem we had was with our first tour guide that told us we were expected to give a $100/person tip to the guide (however, no tipping was required).

Only prom Len we had some bus drivers smoked in the bus when we were out and about instead of smoking outside but we had a great time a lot of value for the money
