Ivana, So sorry to hear that Piper was not transitioning onto Chi Dog smoothly. While most dogs are able to make a diet change with no problems some pups can use the support of a slower transition or even a natural probiotic to help their body adjust to a higher plane of nutrition. Ms. Valdez, Thank you for telling us about your experience. For your piece of mind, our kitchen tests every batch of meals before it ships, to ensure no bacterial overgrowths or contaminants have occurred during the cooking process. We have not had any issues. The meals are real food though. We suggest once the meals are defrosted to feed within a few days just as you would the food in your refrigerator. The meals should smell like meat, carbohydrates and vegetables.
