I was just about to break my own rule and ignore my instincts by booking with this third party cheap tickets agent to save $200 over booking with the airline directly.... but decided to check reviews first.
Holy Cow! Not one positive review on this page. Each and every one answered with a minimum wage, cookie cutter response in an attempt to look responsive. That on-line c/s tactic is alright for the random complaint but looks totally lame and disingenuous when ALL your reviews are in the toilet.
Anyway thanks for the reviews. Glad I checked. Paying the extra $200, always smart to be the airline's direct customer, especially long haul international travel. Standing in LAX trying to get a hold of some dude in Bangkok at 1 am, is not my idea of a good time.

Never, ever, ever again.
I was assisted in booking a hotel online for 5/1-5/3 but upon arriving to check in, I quickly learned that the agent booked my stay in Logan, WV instead of Logan, UT. The entire town was completely booked due to the University's graduation and I had nowhere to stay. I immediately called customer service and waited to talk to a representative for 20 minutes even though it said the wait time was 6 minutes. No luck, I hung up and called back 30 minutes later and was asked to wait 2 minutes for an agent. After waiting another 20 minutes on the phone, I finally spoke to an agent who informed me that the approving refund manager of the hotel was not in after 5 pm (EST) and that I would need to call back Saturday between the hours of 8-5 pm (EST) to request an approval as nothing was guaranteed. The next morning, I called back at 10:00 am (MST) and spoke with an agent that connected me to the hotel manager and after talking with the hotel manager, I realized that the Cheap Tickets agent called the Utah location instead of the West Virginia location for my refund. The Utah manager had no idea what reservation the agent called her about and I was left at another dead end, on the phone for another hour trying to figure out this mess. A couple of hours later, I called back customer service who called the correct hotel, this time, in West Virginia to try to obtain my refund. I was then told - once again - that the refund manager had left early from the hotel that day and even though I had called before 5 pm, I was out of luck and needed to call Cheap Tickets customer service back on Monday to try to obtain my refund. I called this morning (5/4) and finally was able to get approval by the hotel manager to obtain a refund for my purchase. I was advised that the hotel manager would send me an email verifying the refund but I needed to call back customer service - once again (for the 6th time) - and let them know when I had received my refund email and then Cheap Tickets would provide me a full refund for their mistake. I called customer service back, notified them that I had received the approval email from the hotel manager and they approved a refund, which will process in 5 business days. It took me 4 days to get this issue resolved and doesn't account for the fact that I never did find a place to stay in Logan, UT as all other hotels were completely booked and the run around for this issue and multiple excuses about a "manager not approving" the refund has left me never, ever wanting to endure this mess again.

Deplorable
I had a trip booked to Mexico. I sprained my foot and was in a boot for 6 weeks. I submitted all my medicals, my Orthopedic Surgeon wrote a letter. I still could not get ANY of my $420.98 back!!! I called Cheap Tickets, Orbitz & the airlines. Due to me using this company, nothing was refundable. I am on crutches and in a boot and cannot even walk or drive. This company is a huge scam & they do not give a care in the world about serving customers to make them happy. Sad.

Unreliable Bad Business
I will never do business with CheapTickets again. On December 30, 2015, we purchased two tickets to the Rose Bowl game. The customer service rep who I spoke with on the phone said the tickets will be delivered overnight via FedEx and guaranteed to arrive on December 31. Customer service put me on extended hold, then called me back later but did not provide a tracking number although my credit card was charged immediately on Dec-30. By 4PM on Wednesday Dec-31, I was worried because the tickets had not arrived with the mail. So I called CheapTickets event line but the automated message says the office is currently closed at 3PM PST. The auto attendant offers two options: Press 3 to leave a voicemail for non-emergencies or press 4 to leave a voicemail in the emergency mail box. I pressed 4 and it said this option was “invalid”. Then I pressed 3 and left a voicemail but never heard back. By 6PM, the tickets had still not been delivered. With the Rose Bowl game just hours away we ended up having to purchase tickets elsewhere. Days after the event we had still not received a call back, follow-up or anything. When I called for a refund, the rep seemed clueless but said a clerical error caused the tickets to be sent to a different address by mistake. The whole situation was a hassle. This was my first and last experience with CheapTickets. I will strongly recommend against doing business with CheapTickets in the future. CheapTickets cannot be trusted.

NEVER USE CHEAPTICKETS TO BUY FLIGHT TICKETS
I have had the worst experience with this crappy company.
My mom needed an authorization to travel with my little son, she didn't have it so to not lose their tickets they told me to call cheaptickets to leave them open which I did right away. The cheaptickets agent had me on the phone for over an hour and told me the flight tickets were open for them to travel two weeks later. I had to work so I agreed with him to call back in the next 24 hours, which I did. I called back, again over an hour and twenty minutes waiting but he said I had the reservations for a flight in two weeks. He needed to pass me with the airlines for confirmations and he hang up on me, never called me back so I called back. 5 more times!!! I spoke with agents, supervisors, I wrote down everybody's name, around noon I was told I have lost the tickets, NOBODY EVER did any reservations and their customers services is disgusting! I have lost $2000. They never tried to fix the issue at all. Their customer services sucks, big time!
I already contacted the Better Business Bureaus, my lawyer, I put a post on my fb so my over 450 friends can see it and at work where were are over 800 employees I used our communication board to let everybody know how this cheap company works.

NEVER USE CHEAPTICKETS
I planned a trip to NYC for my son and I and we purchased a New York City Explorer Pass. Do not ever pay for this. The pass states that you have to go a redemption center to pick up go city cards. On the paper it has Times Square Alliance Visitor Center as a place to redeem the voucher well this place does not exist. My son and I walked around in the rain all day looking for this place because the address on the paper brought us to a Double Tree Hotel that is no longer opened. I went to the website that was listed for directions clicked on NYC and nothing came up. That is not the worst part, I called cheaptickets to report my experience and explain what happened and how we wasted a day in NYC and was informed that there was nothing they could do and I could not get a refund. Cheaptickets took my money and ruined my sons first trip to NYC. Please go with a reputable company and cheaptickets is not reputable at all. If you are reading this cheap is not always better, and on this sight it is not. Not to mention I had to fly to NYC on a plane so small I practically was sitting in the bathroom door. Cheapticket RUINED an experience that was set to be a great memory for my 8 year old.

Stranded in DC
Flew to Washington DC with a package deal (air fare, hotel and rental car - great deal right!?) with no issues...received a notification that my return flight had been cancelled and to contact Cheaptickets.com. Contacted customer service and was able to book another crappy flight back (6am on a snowy day) and the nightmare begins:
- Made other arrangements for rental and hotel. Found out they WILL ONLY rebook a flight but WILL NOT accommodate you with hotel and rental (you are on your own).
- They give you the run around and are not willing to help.
- ALL reps are NOT from this country and reads ALL of their answers from a notebook.
- Asked to speak with supervisor and basically tells me I'm screwed...I'm On my own and need to contact the airline, hotel and rental car whom at the same time tells me to contact Cheaptickets.com because they booked my reservations.
- Needless to say, the frustrations take over and I'm stuck in snow, no taxi service, no shuttle service in time to make a 6am flight.
- After all of the running around...I ended up spending twice as much as I originally spent.
Please save yourself some headache and hassle and pay a little extra. Cheaptickets.com customer service (or lack thereof) are instructed to have you contact the airlines and other accommodations yourself. This company should be shut down for continuously misleading customers and lack of responsibility. I'm sure I'll probably receive an email requesting for me to contact them so they can "investigate my concerns further." Ummm....NO...you should have listened the first time I contacted you.
My ratings? You guessed it...0 Stars!
