We bought tickets through CheapFlightBuddy, but a couple of hours later they called and said the tickets needed an “upgrade.” They told us the original fare meant flexible dates (3–4 day range for departure) and no option to add baggage. Since that didn’t work for us, they offered other tickets at a much higher price. I spent an hour and a half on the phone, and in the end nothing was resolved. Very disappointing and untrustworthy service.

This is a SCAM! You will book your flights and less than 24 hours later you will receive calls and emails stating your tickets were promotional and the airline is no longer running that promotion so you have to go with another day and time for the cheap rate. Calling in you will be placed on hold for over 40 minutes. If you want to/have to keep the same tickets that you originally booked, then you will have to pay an additional $500 or more to purchase the actual tickets you thought you booked at the lower rate. We even called the airlines and gave the "so called" email confirmation number and the airline did not recognize it and said it was more than likely a SCAM and to beware. I have booked with plenty other 3rd party sites and have never experienced this. DO NOT USE THIS SITE, unless your ok with people playing games and upcharging you.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience booking flights with cheap flights buddy. At first, I was happy to find what seemed like a good deal and received confirmation that my flight was confirmed. However, shortly after, I began receiving phone calls from a number that appeared to be a scam. When I finally answered, it turned out to be one of your agents telling me that my tickets were actually “standby” and that I might not even get a seat unless I “updated” the ticket by paying an additional $1,300 USD. This has left me frustrated, misled, and very dissatisfied with the service.

I BOUGHT TWO TICKETS FOR $580, LATER ON I GET AN EMAIL TO CALL THEM. I CALL AND THE GUY SAID WE WERE NOT GUARANTEED A SPOT ON THE FLIGHT BECAUSE WE HAD FLEXIBLE TICKETS. WE COULDN'T GET A REFUND, SO I HAD TO SPEND AND EXTRA $600. SEEMS LIKE THEY SET YOU UP, THEY KNOW ALL ALONG YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO PAY MORE. I WON'T BE USING THEM AGAIN, THAT WAS FIRST, AND WILL BE MY LAST! VERY DISSAPOINTED! TOTALLY BLINDSIDED BY THAT! THEN THE GUY TELLS ME I'M GETTING THE BEST DEAL, COMPARED TO THE OTHER SIGHTS. PRICELINE WAS $500 LEST THEN THEY ARE.

Scammers! My experience: They show a very low price on their website, then the next day they call you and ask for a price even HIGHER than the airline price! In my case 280$ website price, later asking for 760$ (airline price: 570$) They said that the airline has put a "hold" on the ticket because seat was not available on that class (economy), so they wanted to charge more for another class. Called the airline right away, economy class WAS still available! I can't believe that these "5-stars" are not fake! pocketfare.com is probably the same. === Don't fall for their threat that it's "non-refundable" to pay more; the first email is only an itinerary; no flight is booked yet to be 'non-refundable'! .... I complained to BBB too, I wish they (Pocket fare & One-$ fly) would be taken down.
