After 23 years as a customer i was forced to cancel due to an outage. They refused to provide me access to one of their thousands of hotspots without an additional charge and now want me to pay for the period I had no service!

Untrained in Customers Service, store sales, service, or respect for that matter. Employment abuse via customer's identity information and passwords, illegally using the customers information and phone numbers for self enjoyment. Many customers Private Personal information have been and continue to be used, for their self reasons. when you go into the store or call they're not friendly, trained properly or professional. Just a bunch of lazy leaning on the counter don't appreciate customers/work from home half sleep workers with dogs barking, babies crying and music, video game playing as well as others in the background. Not safe and they are upset you interrupted their day. Spectrum service is always out internet is always out and easily hacked into via their off duty employees. It's Not safe at all. Find some other cable /internet company, they will say you have just internet but will be charging you for a package deal and many made-up fees. Not a good company at all. Report them and walk away as soon as you can and pack up all their items and give it back, so they can't charge you for their items. Disgusting Company to deal with. They do not want you to leave so they will make it hard for you to cancel numerous phone calls,no call back,staff clueless they need retraining.only way to cancel service is to call the retention team. Takes forever to get through to them then you get error 19 on the call then it disconnects. Asked the agent to call me back if I get disconnected he said he would of course he never did,even the digital call back does not call you back,then trying to get a transfer pin to transfer my numbers she never had a clue saying I did not need it as my cellphones are unlocked.what has that got to do with transferring my cell numbers?? The simple problem is they don’t want you too cancel any service they want you to stay with them for life.unprofessional untrained customer service agents what a joke of a company

At least two to three times a month service randomly goes out for hours on end. Just last night it was out from around 7PM to after 1AM, despite Charter saying that it would be back on by Midnight, which even then, is an unacceptable amount of time. When people pay for a service, they expect to have a reliable service. I absolutely wouldn't recommend this ISP to anyone until they get their crap together. I can't imagine how much money that outage lost people who work from home, and as I said, outages like that occur at least twice a month for multiple HOURS.

The sales guy promised a price and a service (Cloud DVR) for a certain price. Once installed, I discovered their cloud DVR does not work. Was told 3 months ago it would be working in 2-months and would send the cable/DVR box to use for those 2-months free of charge. Now, 2-months later it still isn't available and they are billing me for the DVR box which i'm not supposed to be paying for. Called and was rudely told it is what it is. They could care less. Moving to another provider based on their lies and bad rude cusotmer support. BEWARE if you choose Spectrum/Charter as your cable/internet provider.

Horrendous rude employees. Their stupid check-in system wouldn’t issue a ticket (I was there to drop off their equipment), so after waiting for 10 mins, they told me I couldn’t just drop off the equipment and had to get on the wait list. I said that it wouldn’t issue me a ticket (said “Unable to Issue Ticket at This Time”), and the employee looked at me like I’m a moron. I said I should have just dropped it at a UPS store, and she said, “Well, you can still do that…”

Today from around 2:30 pm Joseph R. On the “Billing Management Team” hung up on me after refusing to allow me to speak to his supervisor, or a CUSTOMER SERVICE agent/customer retention. He kept fast taking me, over talking me and saying my concerns had been addressed when they were not. Please give me a CUSTOMER SERVICE manager who has the ability to keep my current “promotional” internet rate that is just above market competitors. I am a on-time paying long term customer. 12/11/23

I had the internet service. It was fine and did what I needed. Unfortunately, when I signed up in December of 2022, I was in for a LOT of phone calls to fix billing issues. It took FOUR MONTHS of calls to deal with these morons. In November of 2023, Tmobile had a deal for the internet that I could not refuse. I called Spectrum to ask if they could provide any deals to keep me. They said they couldn't offer anything until April 2024. I said okay and switched. Today, 12/1/23, I call Spectrum to cancel after getting setup with my new Tmobile internet. I literally had to argue with them to get canceled. Very unbecoming of Spectrum to have a hit piece script of their competitio, in attempt to keep me. By the time I finally got this crappy company to cancel, I was done to the point I will never go back. This is the 2nd time I have left Spectrum, after they spent zero time trying to keep me when I said I made them aware I was about to leave. Both times they ignored the heads up. They fought to keep me AFTER I told them I was leaving. Now, I can expect a knock on the door every few months to get me back. Sorry bro! You lost me for the last time.
