$15,189.56 charged to move less than 900 miles Charter sold to Arrow Moving and Storage Arrow double charged us cubic feet : extra $7000.00 doubled charged gasoline quote: extra $700.00 Charter charged: FOR THE ESTIMATE: $1975.00 Loaders showed up in Enterprise Rental Truck Packed one load, told us they were going to a hub and reloading it into our reserved semi (per Charter) Reality...…….Arrow put it in storage and sold it to a 3rd. trucking company Loaded second load and we were told our semi was full. Couldn't load any more. Had to give lots of our possessions away Rented U Haul.....cost of truck, gas, hotel etc. . not included in $15,189.56 Cost to replace items loaders REFUSED TO PACK not included in the $15,189.56 Got a call (new home) " yah...…….I have your stuff" Driver was alone? Said he was going to Home Depot for helpers We told him closest Home Depot was 2 hrs. away (Oregon coast) Driver went into Ray's Grocery store, hired 2 kids on their bicycles. Started unloading.......it got dark, and started raining But....they were able to use their cell phone lights :) Next am Driver showed up, unpacked the rest of our load into a metal building on our property. Told my husband," you have an SUV, you can move everything into the house yourself!" $15,189.56 Driver just left...…..told us he hated his boss and his job ! Arrow told us " well, we didn't charge you for the items he didn't load" (Aren't we lucky?) At least they didn't use the mattress for a loading ramp like they did with the 89 yo ladies!.... Oh, that's right we don't have a mattress because THEY REFUSE TO LOAD THAT!

I recently had the opportunity to move out of state for an amazing new job! Trying to find a reliable mover to take my items across the country for me was such a hassle and i was tired of all the calls i was receiving. Then Daniel with charter van lines called me and I am so happy i picked up his call. His help took away all the stresses i had with my move and now that everything's delivered and been placed in my new home i couldn't be happier with my experience with this great company!

Due to my past traumas moving i was skeptical with trying it again, but i worked with a great representative before our move named josh and he helped up have an amazing experience. everything was delivered promptly within the delivery frame they promised.

Horrible service..Do not recomend. Company need to be honest to their Customers and not lying saying staff will be delivered from 1- 7 days and it took 3 weeks, one day for us to get our staff delivered.. Some staff broken and boxes falling apart after being in a warehouse in Chicago for 3 weeks.On top we got over charges of additional 2000.00 at pick up.. Please do your research on all Moving Companies to avoid the hassle I had to go thru for 3 weeks

I just finished college and had been sharing an apartment with my roommate. After graduation I was offered a job opportunity I could not pass up, only catch was moving from California to NJ. As a single college female who has watched way too much HGTV, my shared apartment had more things than I’d like to admit. My roommate suggested I use the moving company her parents used when they moved. My budget was pretty tight, so I was reluctant, but after speaking to their customer service rep, I felt so great about my decision and was blown away by the price! Needless to say, they moved my items with no issues. The crew was professional and efficient and no damage was done to any of my items! They even had a list so nothing was misplaced or lost!! If I ever move again, I will be calling Charter Van Lines!

Charter Vanlines was an absolute life saver during my family's move from Michigan to California. They arranged everything from packing to unpacking in our new home. They even made a list of all of our items so I could make sure nothing got lost in the move! Their customer service is amazing. They’re friendly and super helpful, suggesting things I never would have even thought of. They made sure we got the best professionals to move our things and we had support from the minute I called them until we got to our new place safely. Sometimes in life you just have to get away from the daily routine you’ve been in for so long, and I decided that the best way for me to do that was to move across the country.
