Actually think what they do should be illegal. Their charges don’t work and it says ‘try again’ you tap your card again and again and the same thing happens. Not only do they take a £10 min charge from you and keep any credit you have, but they hold a £15 pending charge on your account and hold it for weeks. They took £10 plus 3x £15 from me and I’m waiting for it to be refunded. I’ve closed my account. They are clearly out to hold money and make interest.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ChargePoint! They automatically charge your credit card (auto-reload). I have been told once you sign up and you agree to the terms and conditions you agree to auto-reload and you cannot DISABLE this feature!!!! In the US they allow this feature to be disabled. Every electric charging station has an app that you must download and use. All apps required auto-loading of funds.

I am waiting for a resolution to a billing problem at ChargePoint. Back on October 12, an authorized replenishing of the account failed after more than a year of successful transactions with the same MasterCard. At least 5 phone calls with long wait times and several emails, I still have no resolution. Funnily enough, that same card works fine without a ChargePoint account.

Very time consuming downloading the app and providing all details. Then after charging debited a further £20 to hold in their account. Why? Phoned customer service. Terrible line and the agent struggled to understand me. Cannot understand why these charging points cannot be pay as you go .

Évitez de compter sur les bornes ChargePoint. Expérience - nous ne sommes rendus devant leurs bornes de charge rapide à St Maximin : les 2 étaient hors service et ce n'était aucunement signalé sur l'application. De plus, inutile de compter sur leur "service" client / assistance : pas de conseillers francophone en week-end, alors que cette entreprise autrichienne dispose de plusieurs bornes en Europe, et ne comptez pas sur leur niveau d'anglais plus qu'approximatif. À fuir absolument !

La barrière de la langue peut certainement rendre la situation encore plus difficile, et c'est regrettable que ChargePoint n'ait pas pu fournir une assistance adéquate en français. Votre retour est très précieux pour nous et mérite d'être pris en considération. Il est essentiel que les entreprises offrant des services internationaux, comme ChargePoint, garantissent une expérience client fiable et cohérente, indépendamment du pays ou de la langue. Terrible experience with Alex, one of their support staff. I called as I received a parking ticket when using a ChargePoint. Alex repeatedly said it wasn't ChargePoint's responsibility, kept talking over me. He was reluctant to give me his name or say who he worked for "that's private information". How on earth this guy has job is beyond me. I asked for a point of escalation and he said there wasn't one. When using a ChargePoint and paying for the service and then receiving a parking ticket they say it's not their responsibility - it's just shocking. They advertise the ChargePoints on their own website. I was told by email and on the phone it's not their responsibility and it's in their T&C's. I wouldn't recommend anyone or any organisation doing business with ChargePoint.
