The opener I installed with the MyQ app has been nothing but trouble. To be honest, it is junk. The app logs us out on a regular basis and many times tells us that out password is incorrect. This results us to sitting on hold for tech support for 1-2 hours each time. The opener will open the door in the middle of the night for not reason. It will stop working only for tech support to tell me that the sensors are not aligned when they have been all along and nothing touched them. Now Chamberlain sends an email stating that if we do not follow their password protocol they are going to lock us out of our own account. Enough already. I am going back to a Genie. No issues what so ever.

It's just been the worst experience dealing with this garage door set up everything about this has just made me sure that I should have never bought this but I did. It's too late now. Not buying another one. So for everybody else out there do not buy this company. This is terrible. Terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible company

unquestionably terrible service. got a garage door installed in a new construction bought at home depot. the pad in the garage does not work properly. Intermitant, the timer doesn't work. Called to request customer service the young lady says open the pad then cut 1 foot of wire so we can test it. There is not 1 ft of wire. Her response well then you need to first replace the wire then we will test and send out a replacement pad if necessary. It is no my job as the home owner to test and help them resolve. they do not send a technician to fix it even thought paid for install and it is less that 4 months.

Just purchased the top of the line Chamberlain door opener. Setup was helped by some on-line videos. Reprogrammed 4 remotes with no problem. Purchased an additional Chamberlain universal 2 button remote. Tried all 3 methods outlined in the manual several times each. No success! Called Chamberlain. Refused to replaced the defective remote.

I’ll start by saying I was shocked by the lack of customer service from this company. I have had bad experiences with customer service before but this one was unexpected. I ordered a MyQ Smart Garage Door Opener on the 21st of July. I paid extra for Fed Ex overnight delivery. It shipped on the 22nd so should have arrived on the 23rd. Now if it was simply late and didn’t get here in time still no big deal. I figured I’d just call customer service and get the money back that I paid for overnight which I think is fair. Here’s the thing, today is the 27th and the package no longer updates. It’s apparently lost or just stuck in Memphis TN. Again I figured ok no big deal. I’ll call customer service, have them refund my shipping and just send me out another one. Inconvenient but not the end of the world. So I call and I am told yes we see your package appears to be missing. Here are your options. Call Fed Ex and deal with it yourself. (No I’m not doing this. I don’t have time. This is something Chamberlain should deal with not the customer), next option is you buy it again and we’ll send it out right away (of course I’m not going to pay twice for one order this is absurd). So I politely told the customer service rep I’ll tell you what. Just cancel my order and refund my money. She refused to do that. So they won’t contact fed ex to figure out why their shipper hasn’t delivered what I paid for, they won’t cancel my order and refund my money. And they won’t send me out another order without me paying again. I mean this is craziness. I will never order a single thing from this business if I can’t trust them. They are more than ok with simply taking my money for a product they didn’t deliver.

I just installed a Chamberlain b2310 belt-drive garage door opener for $269. Nowhere in the packaging or on the box does it say that it is not compatible with ANY accessory other than what Chamberlain sells. Not universal keypads or remotes, or even the Homelink in my truck. Nothing. That is some crap. Because you don't realize any of that until after it is installed. So Chamberlain has you on the hook for another $80 - $100 to buy only their accessories. I will never buy another Chamberlain product.

I’ve had a Chamberlain Garage Door Opener for about 11 years it works great! Somehow MyQ Garage Door Opener became disconnected from the opener so I had to use the clicker This happened like in December and I’ve been trying to troubleshoot to reconnect for months on my own because I never even thought I’d get any help from Chamberlain after all these years having the opener. Yesterday after troubleshooting again I called the number they offered for Chat or phone and someone answered within 5 minutes. They took their time and walked me through the process of reconnecting my Opener with the MyQ app.. In less than 15 minutes I was all set up. I was so pleasantly surprised I had to write this review. They really are reliable, I needed help and they answered immediately and resolved my issue quickly. I applaud them and highly recommend the company. Thank you!

I have smart garage opener with myQ app and subscription. Sporadically, the camera stops working, or not recording, or the remore opener is not working, or other problems. Most of them stem from the software. It might be expectable to have such problems once in a while. However, the customer support is horrible. I have spent many hours on the phone talking to different myQ technicians. They try this or that, plug-unplug, device reset, erase-add, etc. When they see that the camera is still not working they simply drop off the call. Everything has to start again with the new technician: try this, try that, go to the garage, come back, plug-unplug... The problem with the camera persissts and I do not see how it can be resolved. Unless some person comes and resolves the problem on site. But, they do not have this option!!! I cannot recommend this company.
