My 3 cats are loving their new food! And I'm happy with the lower amount of waste in their litter boxes! It's sad for me to see complaints about the customer service, as I've dealt with them, and had great success. I happily recommend this food to all the cat people I know. Plus, my cats absolutely love the boxes from the company! They're scattered throughout my house, and at any given time, one of them is sleeping in their cat fort! I find this to be a good method of shipping, as the boxes are sturdy and useful in other capacities, and I recycle the rest!

No insulated packaging = hot wet food
You really need to do better with your packaging. Not only did the box arrive damaged and partially open, even though the box was immediately retrieved from outside, everything inside was hot. The only packaging was one measly strip of bubble packing over the top (nothing on bottom or sides). This has been the same on all my deliveries.
It's the middle of a heat wave. It's 118 in Phoenix. You say you're cat people, but you ship me hot wet cat food with no insulation? I'm concerned about giving this to my cat. Do better, please. Let's get at least some level of insulation.

Hi Shae! We're so sorry to hear that your order arrived in a less-than-ideal state. That's definitely not the kind of experience we want for our customers. We very much understand your concerns about the food being exposed to summer temperatures. To give some context, the way we prepare our food actually keeps it safe, even from extended shipping times in high heat! For our wet food, the meat is placed in the cup, the cup is sealed, and then, the meat is cooked right in the cup. This ensures that your food is sterile, shelf-stable, and safe to eat, as it remains sealed until you receive it.
Because of our processes, we expect the food to arrive safe, normal, and useable, even in hot weather. Once you've opened a cup of wet food, however, you should cover and refrigerate any unused portions for up to two days. Once you've opened a bag of dry food, you should reseal it and store it in a cool, dry place.

Plastic containers will kill us all
Love the product, hate the packaging. Please offer larger sized servings of food for multiple cat households. All of the small plastic containers are not only wasteful but also harmful to the planet (the vast majority of plastic is NOT recycled even if it is recyclable grade plastic).
And please get rid of the plastic air pouches that come in the boxes - you are creating even more, unnecessary plastic waste!
Our cats love your product, but as conscientious consumers, we won't continue to choose to sacrifice the environment by throwing out multiple small boxes, way too many plastic containers, and excessive plastic packaging with every Cat Person meal.
If you care about animals and are truly "cat people" you have to care for our planet, too. Please make changes so we can feel good about buying your product.

Hi Zoey! Thanks so much for your incredibly thoughtful feedback - we really appreciate it, and we appreciate your commitment to a more waste-free world.
When creating our product line, we tried our best to make packaging that was both from recycled materials (our shippers are made from 70% recycled corrugated cardboard) as well as recyclable itself (those same shippers are 100% recyclable, and are designed with eco-friendly water-based inks). As for our food packaging, the wet food cups are made of #5 plastic which can be recycled per your community's guidelines. We hope to switch over to aluminum cans in the future.
We don't currently offer the option to purchase our food in bulk or by the case -- we're sorry about that! We do hope to offer bulk purchasing soon, as we know there are lots of multi-cat households out there! We will let you know when that option becomes available.

No more cat puke...
My cat puked often on her other high quality dry food. I have introduced Cat Person over the past month, slowly blending it with her old food. We are at about 80% CP now and she has not puked once since the transition. We are satisfied and I just placed an order for 2 more bags. Two thumbs up!

When I first saw the ad for Cat People I was a little hesitant. Then I figured the cost i was now spending on health conscious food and it was about the same.
The food here looks and smells like something you and I would eat, so why not feed it to you cat. It's healthy without a lot of fillers and my cat loves it!

An amazing solution for our kitty
I was looking for a cat food delivery and BAM! I saw Cat Person. My Stella loves shreds in broth and we are always running out. I took the short quiz and a few days later got the food. It took her a day or so to adjust. However, now at feeding time, she RUNS for her food. I couldn’t be more happy that we have found an amazing stress free and nutritious solution for our girl. She’s more active. Her coat is so soft. Thank you Cat Person!
