Purchased 2 lay flat recliners with heat and massage. Loved the look but HATE the chairs. First month realized the heat in one did not work. Company would not replace “Repairman came out and basically ripped the chair apart from the back only to discover the heater was installed BACKWARDS! He put the chair back together for us to be left with staples sticking out of the chair, loose leather , lumpy spots ,lopsided chair. And a bonus pair of pliers found when trying to straighten chair.
Be careful of remote. Was not put in pocket and came home to burning smell since the dog was laying in chair that had reclined with button stuck.

I purchased a Catnapper Omni Power Lift…
I purchased a Catnapper Omni Power Lift Recliner from Boscov’s for approximately $1,499, expecting a quality chair that would last for years. Unfortunately, I have been very disappointed.
The power cord underneath the chair became caught in the reclining mechanism and was damaged. This happened twice. The first time, the repair was covered by the protection plan. Now that the same problem has happened again, I contacted Boscov’s and was told that the manufacturer’s warranty had expired and that I could possibly purchase another protection plan.
My biggest concern is that this does not appear to be a simple cord failure. The cord is getting caught and damaged by the chair’s mechanism. I am also concerned about the potential electrical and fire safety risk of having a power cord repeatedly damaged underneath a moving recliner.
For a $1,499 recliner, I expected much better quality and durability. I am disappointed that I am having to deal with the same problem twice and that I am being told the warranty has expired rather than having the underlying problem addressed.
I hope Catnapper and Boscov’s will take this seriously and investigate whether there is a problem with the design or mechanism that is causing the cord to become damaged.

Junk furniture and ZERO response from customer service.
I bought a big/tall recliner from a local furniture store. Supposedly this recliner supports 400lb. I am 300lb. The supports that hold the recliner up bent after a year and a half. The store I bought it from ordered the replacement parts (basically everything under the recliner). A month later the part came in. Cost me over $100 p for parts and labor fix the recliner. Now a year later, the same thing has happened. Cheap, cheap metal. I was a machinist for 25 years. Trust me. You could build the lift mechanism out of wooden yard sticks and it would be better. I have tried to contact Jackson furniture 6 times now. Not a single response. Steer clear of this company. They simply do not care.

Broken Recliner - Problematic Warranty Service
The situation:
* On February 18, 2026, I bought a Catnapper recliner, including a furniture protection plan, at the Reno, NV, RC Willey store for almost $1400 before tax. In early June, a part broke on the mechanism. The chair does not fully close on one side now that the part is broken.
* On June 11, a technician examined the chair and said he would order the parts needed for a repair if he couldn’t get the store to replace the chair.
* On June 17, I received a text stating that a part was on order and the ETA is mid-September.
The disposition: This is an unsatisfactory response. I would like the chair replaced if it cannot be repaired in a reasonable time frame.
* The chair will remain broken for three months, involuntarily. If we use it, we are forced to use a partially broken chair for three months.
* Turns out the “lifetime” manufacturer warranty excludes the cost of labor, packaging and shipping after the first year, three months of which will be wasted waiting for the part that broke only four months into ownership.
* The RC Willey No Lemon Guarantee counts three repairs within a year, but we will have to wait until seven months into the year to have a fully functional chair again to see if it breaks two more times.
* As it is, sitting in my living room, it is lopsided, unsightly, and embarrassing. It doesn’t close completely and is obviously broken.
* It is unsafe since one side of the footrest sticks out in the down position and there is the possibility of tripping over it when walking into the living room.
* Moving it to another location for safety would be contrary to the reason it was purchased and an involuntary loss of use for three months.
The desired remedy:
* Replace the chair immediately or take back and refund the transaction so I can get on with my life. RC Willey can store it for three months and then repair it and sell it to someone else. I need the chair replaced or $1400 back to buy a chair that works.
* This is not about warranties - the warranties are reasonable. This is about reasonable expectations…if a warranty is limited or expires after a year, it is not reasonable to wait three months when the product needs to be fixed, especially in the first year of ownership.
This is an update regarding RC Willey in light of Catnapper's response:
I am highly appreciative of the response from Catnapper. Prior to it, I spoke with RC Willey and they first said they always give a three-month timeline and that it might be sooner. After I said that was ridiculous, they verified with their repair department that, in this case, it was ACTUALLY going to be a three month wait. I am glad to have your response to show them to help me get to the bottom of this issue.
Response from CatnapperJun 24, 2026
I'm very sorry to hear about this. We have looked into this claim and I can assure you that the technician did not receive a September date from Jackson/Catnapper -- this technician is not affiliated with Jackson and the parts were ordered through the retailer, not the manufacturer directly. We have shipped all repair parts ordered for this retailer, so I hope this can be resolved for you much more quickly than three months from now.

15 years since purchase!
Hi!
I bought two matching push recliners in a rich cherry red in 2011. They are still amazingly comfortable after close to 15 years. Unfortunately, the fabric has faded in spots due to sunny windows. I highly recommend Catnapper and may decide to get them recovered if the new prices are too high!

We bought 2 matching recliners and…
We bought 2 matching recliners and within a year both chairs had 1 spring broke. We went on Amazon and bought same size spring and now we can't rock without the leg rests popping out. When we sit in it the leg rest again will not stay in. When we try to get out of the chair it does the same. These are not worth the money. I don't have a clue why the new springs we bought don't do the trick and we have no clue how to get help and get these fixed. Furniture store said they never heard of this happening and I sent them pictures of the springs and they said we installed correctly.
