This mask is terrible, and while I understand that PPE is not returnable (a policy I agree with 100%), I wish that I’d been offered at least a partial refund for this expensive and unusable mask. That would’ve taken the sting out of flushing almost $60 down the drain.

Truly excellent mask! I am a healthcare worker and had been wearing a hard shell n95 for 6-8 weeks at a time. I was dealing with significant skin chafing and irritation from constant rewearing. Castlegrade has changed that entirely! I now am able to effectively sterilize my mask after every shift. The filters are easy to change and reordering is quick and easy. The fit is snug but comfortable (I wear the G8 size) and my glasses do not fog up at all. The small amount of voice distortion caused by the mask material is entirely tolerable. My only complaint is the build up of condensation within the mask after wearing for long periods of time, but I am able to remedy this by simply wiping the inside of the mask with a clean tissue every few hours. When I first began wearing the mask, I did have some skin irritation on my nose where the top of the mask rests but a little bit of aquaphor-type ointment prior to donning the mask eliminates chafing almost entirely. If you’re on the fence about buying a Castlegrade mask, do it! I wish I had purchased mine sooner!

The effectiveness and comfort are the best of any of the many masks I have used. Highly recommend.

Great design, but a little too small and a little too tight for comfort.

The mask is ok but not great. It does not fit well around my average size nose. There is no contouring at all to help fit over the face. It almost seals around my nose but not quite. There also doesn't seem to be a very good seal between the filter and mask. Not worth 40 dollars in my opinion.

I love the idea of these masks and I have recommended it it at least 4 people who are giving it a try. I am an OT and I work with unmasked children, so a reusable and comfy N95 is a dream. I ordered the G8 size small, and while it fits my face size, I get air out the top at the bridge of my nose. To try and get a tight seal I am wearing it on the smallest notch on the head strap and the mask hurts the end of my nose. I have a larger nose, so I think others wouldn’t have this same issue. I ordered the ear straps to see if that would help and it’s way too loose, and the straps completely bend my ears down. I wish I could give this mask a perfect score, but on me it doesn’t quite work and it causes me pain to wear for an hour or more. Hoping new tweaks keep coming out because I know this company listens to customer feedback!

As a flight attendant, talking is such an important part of my job, and I felt that the protection of the Castle Grade would be just what I needed. However, because talking is so important, this mask just muffles my voice too much. I am really disappointed. I wanted to love it. I may still use it in other applications, but I also have a 3 year old and it's important they hear me. I do love that the straps are around the head straps, and overall the mask feels pretty comfortable, but I'm still testing to see how long it can be worn comfortably. Edit to add: I really appreciate the quick reply from Castle Grade. It's a big part of the reason I ordered from them. And while I expected the mask to muffle my voice a bit, it just happens to be too much for work, bc my job requires constant communication. I hope that the new model is better, but I am out of the money invested in this one. I will be patiently waiting for the new version. Thank you for the update.
