I have 2 cases from carved. A traveler case and a live edge. The live edge was a gift from my kids because they knew I REALLY wanted one but could never justify purchasing a phone case that w/ taxes is over $200. That being said I LOVED the live edge, was extremely careful with it. While doing an interview at work my phone fell off the table onto a linoleum floor not a huge fall and it was the ONLY time my phone had been dropped. I picked it up and was extremely upset when I saw the glass around the camera was broken and the case had a crack in it. I wrote an email IMMEDIATELY since it was a Xmas gift but wasn’t delivered until January. So I’ve had it a little over a month, dropped one time and it’s broken and my camera glass is cracked. I got home removed the case so I could put a camera cover on since I didn’t want anymore damage. The live edge has a major design flaw, it needs to have an interior lined with rubber at least on the corners to absorb shocks since a phone shouldn’t shatter falling off a table onto linoleum. Edit- My original post said that Carved never contacted me even though I emailed them several times. They were finally able to get an email through (neither Carved or myself can figure out where the disconnect happened) and carved did show me that had tried repeatedly to contact me. I still love the traveler case, they are beautiful and protect my phone. The traveler will be my go to case now and for future phones (wish they made an iPad cover hint hint) The live edge, I WOULD purchase again if the design of the case is changed somewhat to protect the phone. It’s still my dream case since they are so beautiful but our phones are incredibly expensive and need protection as well as a pretty case. I’ll end this by saying Carved came through in the end and I’m satisfied.

I would give less than one star if I could. I received my $189 phone case and it was defective. The lower corner has been cut and is below the glass, where as the other edges are above the glass, and have a matt sheen. The area that has been "cut" looks like someone cut the edge down with a razor blade and has a gloss sheen from cutting through the plastic. I would expect at this price for things to be taken seriously and they would not want a bad experience for customers. I have reached out via their web portal where it says "start my exchange" THREE TIMES!!!!!! I have not received a respons. It is closing in on the "30 day" period for exchanges that they mention on their website and I am seriously doubting their integrity at this point. This is not my first phone case from them, but it will be my last, and I will definitely be spreading the word of my experience with them and why I will never do business with them again.

I love this company and their customer service. Their products are amazing. I have purchased over 26 cases from them for myself and my family, as their designs are just that unique! I recommend this company to all my friends!
