I used Carsoup to find my new (to me) car! It is a great, easy to use site that allows me to search across geographical areas. More dealers should sign up! I also love the new "features" search. Hopefully dealers are making sure that they are populating that data correctly in order to minimize omissions.

This website and/or app is a great way to search wide and narrow from there according to your likes and dislikes. There is still room for improvement. However, it allows plenty of customization as it is.

Car soup.com is a great app, but I wish it had the ability to search in greater detail. Example, I wish that I could search for a crew cab 1/2 ton pickup truck that is under 180,000, 4x4, V8, gas, with a front bull bar or light bar and off road lights, tilt/cruse, and a manual 4 wheel drive shifter on the floor that has an automatic transmission. I just want more options to sort down to the truck that I want.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such detailed feedback. CarSoup.com values any insight our users provide and uses the information to continually improve. It does not appear that we have all the features that you requested at this time, but the "Advanced Search" feature will let you be very specific in your search conditions - http://www.carsoup.com/AdvancedSearch.aspx. Your feedback will be made available to our user experience team to evaluate for potential future implementation.

Many helpful features assist buyers to locate and compare price and details. I've observed that many private sellers are not very good at timely communication or removal when sold, but that is more a community fault rather than Carsoup's fault. One helpful feature on another site is showing how long a car has been for sale, any price changes, and above or below book value. Just an improvement suggestion.

CarSoup.com allows dealers to offer as much - or as little vehicle information as they choose, in order to better inform perspective buyers. More vehicle information is always better, and more helpful too. They do a great job of aggregating available vehicles within a given distance, and make it easy to contact dealers for more information. I've used CarSoup.com to choose and purchase two vehicles now, and absolutely will go back to them again when the time comes to purchase another.
