Very good auction site.

If you are not a professional photographer, with state of the art photography equipment, your pics will not be accepted. I submitted pics of my car 3 times, with different lighting and cameras, following their "guidelines", and all 3 times my pics were judged, "unfortunately the quality of these is not going to work for the listing", "do you have a friend or family with a newer phone?". I took pics with 2 different phones, and the last batch with a GoPro camera. All denied. What a waste of my time! I think they are in the business of selling their "pro photo package" which I finally relented and asked for an appointment and they stated "Can you send me an address near you, and I can see if we have photographers out there?" which I did and got this return answer "You are correct, no luck.." They couldn't provide a "professional photographer" An absolute waste of time! On the urging of friends I reshot my car yet again only to be told "shots are grainy, dull, and make the car look small" I showed the pics to a few friends who stated "are you sure they're looking at the same pics?" None of them said anything even close to grainy or dull! I wish I could post pics here so you all could see what I'm dealing with! Ridiculous.

The site really works as advertised, and it's white-glove all the way. I was a first-time seller, who sold to a first-time buyer halfway across the country, and we were both skeptical yet pleasantly surprised at how smooth and seamless the whole process was. I especially appreciated how the site on my computer synced with the nice C&B app on my phone.

Cars and bids was overall a great experience and really easy to use. Everything from title transfer, to shipping, to permits were right on the site after the sale. I would use this again for a car purchase!

Deciding to sell our car rather than trading-in was a new experience and one we approached with more than a little fear and trepidation(F&T). Because our vehicle had a few special features, I asked AI for recommendations on how to approach selling. One of its suggestions was Cars&Bids. The decision to use them was made with more F&T-especially when they recommended not setting a reserve price! Their representative was easy to talk with both online and by phone. The process for listing takes a little time but provides a very open and complete listing of information about the vehicle, which for us was important. We wanted the buyer to be fully aware of what he/she was paying for. Although the first bid was a low-ball bid and almost cost me a night's sleep on the couch :) we were extremely pleased with the final bid/sale on the car. Overall experience was a 10+!

Cars & Bids is the best website to sell an enthusiast vehicle. Platform was very easy to use. Even though my car was financed, they made it easy to sell it and walked me through the whole process. Highly recommend!
