The personnel and telephone support are great! The whole process is well integrated with SafePay and Keysavvy which makes things easy. But, you can do it your own way too. The app and website can be a bit confusing and difficult to navigate. If you are going to be selling and are new, I would sign up as a buyer first and practice with the app and web. Don't sleep on the strict photo requirements. But, don't worry about uploading photos in the right place. Sometimes the web and app won't let you "go back". Put correctly formatting photos anywhere they'll go.

I'd do this again but the buyer has to pay 5% of the sale price which is a bit aggressive for simply putting together the website for auctions. The seller largely has to do most of the lifting with taking/paying for high quality photos/videos and more or less writing the description. The fee could potentially negatively impact the seller as well because people may not bid further knowing they have this fee to factor in. I could see having a minimum fee or a progressively lower fee as the price goes.

The overall experience was great! The only thing I wish is that my auction specialist provided more guidance and pointers during the auction.

Overall experience was good, but it wasn’t 100% clear to me the differ aspects of the sale and who handled. It felt like trustpilot was trying to be integrated with Cars & Bids yet still operated by themselves.

Positive: very focused on interested buyers. Negative: Auction closed on a Monday, had a very dead two days over the weekend prior. Auction specialist insisted on noting "stains on carpet" even after I cleaned the area in question.

I have used cars and bids to bid, and sometimes, win the car or motorcycle I was looking for. The process is straight forward. I can trust the page all transactions were out in the open.

Great way to value cars. I took the pics and vital details for one or two car models and worked out value. OTOH, buying a car remotely is very difficult. I waited and found a great deal locally basing the price on what I saw at auction. I think this site could do that as an additional profitable service to its customers. When i showed the seller the results of my pricing, he agreed with me and lowered his price! PS I did this with the Mercedes SLK 55 and SLK 350. Im a retired German car mechanic, shop teacher and electrical engineer. Been around cars all my life. Assembled around 25 or more auctions on the 55’s and 350’s with their pictures, mileage, extras and final price or bid. Was easy to see values, trends in mileage or features vs value, etc! An app for this would probably be cool! Ended up with a 2010 facelift SLK 350 w/27,000 miles. Just got 25mpg on a hi speed trip with the 300hp motor! Fuel was just too expensive to own the SLK 55 with its wonderful V8 as a daily driver! Managed a large fleet of exotics plus a successful race team for a large corporate outfit!
