Pretty bad experience overall. My car got sold, but the buyer did not move forward with the sale. They really need to vet buyers better; it was a waste of time for myself and other bidders. If you’re looking for a reliable platform like eBay for cars, look elsewhere.

I was hoping for a great experience. The Cars and Bids support team were very responsive and provided great direction. They did not waste any of my time. The auction was very fair. The sales price was a little above my target price and a little below the buyers maximum. We spoke and both agreed that it was a fair sale. The post sale process was even easier. The buyer and I agreed to use KeySavvy, which was fantastic. The process could not have been easier or more successful.

Hello, I was trying to sell my car on Cars and Bids and I went through all the processes to get it on their site and it took about a month to square everything away before they put it up on their website. Once the car was live, people started bidding, cool. A week later, someone put in a winning bid of 7200. I start talking to them and then they eventually back out of the sale because of an emergency they have to deal with, so I have the buyer send an official email stating that they're backing out of the sale so that cars and bids can reach out to the under bidders or put it up for auction again. They decide not to put it up for auction again, but decide to contact the underbidders, cool. The underbidders didn't want the car, so my car did not sell on their site. That's fine. However, the part that bothers me is that their website says that the car has been sold when it has not been sold. If I try to sell my car, I have to explain to potential buyers that I did not sell my car on cars and bids, they just left the car on their site as sold because they can. That makes it look like I'm trying to scam them. Like I'm trying to double-sell a car or something. So I asked cars and bids to remove my car from their website because it has not been sold on their website and I don't want it there. They say no because they don't remove any past sales from their site, at all, even if the car has not been sold. If this has happened to me, then who else has this happened to? How many of these cars on their website have been "sold" but did not sell? This makes them look great because it increases their statistics of how many cars they have sold, but how many cars have they actually sold? It decreases the credibility of their site. I went to their site cause of their reputation but now I feel like I was scammed and they're the only winner in this situation because they get to add a "sold" car to their list and they get a buyer fee, which they offered half to me since the buyer backed out, but isn't guaranteed, if the buyer does a chargeback. And the buyer, since they backed out of the sale, which happened for emergency reasons, is "permanently" banned from their site. I want my car removed from the site because if you search the car's VIN on Google, the first thing that pops up is my car on the cars and bids website. I spent so much money to potentially sell my car there and now I still own my car and they say that it has been sold.

Would highly recommend Cars & Bids. Simple process, quick to list and your vehicle brings top dollar!

Great communication and an awesome experience all around. Once you win the auction, you get direct contact to the seller and don't need to work through some clunky 3rd party. Lots of resources available and customer support on standby really brought me a lot of confidence in my purchase.
