Patrick was such an involved and caring advocate to our family in finding a place for my father. He not only kept up with dad's progress following his hip fracture , but visited him numerous times in the hospital and rehab units. He helped us with developing relationships with possible places to move to and found us a private care facility which gives dad more care and less expensive. We would not have had the time and energy to navigate all these places that he had researched thoroughly and could give us information we would not have had.Not only did he meet with us to get to know my dad and our family,he called to see how my sister was doing through the recent loss of mother and dads accident all within a few weeks time. One day I am up in Colorado and get a call from my 92 year old grandmother Joan down in Phoenix who at that point had had several falls in her home while living alone. A couple of them landing her in the hospital, including one about 2 weeks prior to this call. After a brief stay at the hospital they released her to an assisted living home paid by her insurance. She hated it and made such a fuss that they kicked her out sooner than was prudent and she was back at home but really struggling to care for herself. I'd been fighting with Granny for a couple YEARS at this point to get a caregiver or move to an assisted living home. She could barely walk and her shoulders were shot and barely usable. In walks Anthony Black. So Granny's on the phone talking about this guy like he's some kind of hero. He's helped make her dinner, taken her shopping for a couple things and oh BTW he's going to take her to visit a few assisted living homes tomorrow. Say what? Within two days Granny is comfortably settled in the home of a wonderfully sweet Romanian couple with only 4 residents now total. She's getting three home-cooked meals a day with everyone around the dining room table and has a large comfy room and huge bath. Long story short, when she first mentioned Anthony my internal alerts went off. It was just too good to be true. I have a friend that's former law enforcement and she called the local police department to ask around a bit. We looked him up online and did some research. I mean really, who is this miracle worker right? Granny spent about three months at the home and recently passed quietly in her sleep from heart and kidney issues. I feel that she was as happy and well cared for as any person could ask for in their final days. My family and I are extremely grateful to Anthony and Care Patrol for the excellent way they helped Granny into the right place and kept going with anything we could possibly need anytime, both after the placement and even after she passed. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you so much Anthony for all your work and kindness!
