I subscribed to Car Edge for a month to get the inside Data on available used Nissan Pathfinders in my area. It allowed me find an ideal candidate very close to me that had been on the lot for over 3 months. Between the recommended “out the door” price on the site and Ray’s negotiation advice videos on their You Tube channel, I was able to secure an out the door price that was only $100 above the target Car Edge recommended… and that’s not including the fact that I got a better than expected price on my trade in! It’s totally worth a one month subscription fee and spending some time watching their strategy videos if you feel comfortable negotiating on your own - I literally saved about $4K over what they originally wanted.

I elected to go with CarEdge's concierge service after seeing Ray & Zach speak of it on their YouTube channel. I had already researched the cars that I was considering and had finally narrowed it down to one make and model. What I needed was someone to make sure that I got the best deal and could handle the negotiating side of things that I knew I did not have time to do personally, nor the expertise to truly get myself the best deal possible. The concierge service became a must when I realized that the particular car I wanted could not be found in my state. My rep, Theo, conferenced with me to go over my wishlist and the dealerships that had the car I wanted. He made all the calls, created a spreadsheet that allowed me to compare apples-to-apples amongst the dealers to see who was giving us the best deal. We worked back and forth with our spreadsheet, eliminating the dealers who were not willing to work with us (playing games) and tweaking to add more in the process. Finally, as we were coming down to decision time, a vehicle matching my wishlist became available in my state. With Theo's thorough research and many phone calls to the dealers under consideration, we were able to negotiate a matching best price with my local state dealer. I do not doubt that I got the very best price that I could for the car I wanted. The proof was in the spreadsheet, with multiple dealers giving their best price where I could see what was realistic on the pricing. Did I recoup my $899 concierge fee from using the service? Yes, Maybe, Half??, who knows, but what I absolutely did get was a great value for the time that the concierge service saved me personally from making all of those phone calls, and secondly having the negotiating done by an industry expert. I would without a doubt recommend the CarEdge Concierge service to anyone who is ready to pull the trigger on a new car, but like me, dread the phone calls. I would say to do your research first so you know or are close to knowing the type of vehicle, trim levels, etc. that you want, and then let them run with it. I test-drove the car I landed on, locally, so I knew that I wanted this particular car, and I let them do the heavy lifting.
