I have used Care.com for years, and have nothing but good things to say. It allowed me to change careers and fulfill my purpose as a nanny. Now that I’ve become a therapist, I still use Care.com for part-time nanny gigs. That’s how awesome and accessible this work is through the site!

All the family's I have met have been awesome. I was a nanny for 7 years with the same family. When the children grew and were ready for school I went back on care.com. I have now been with this family for a year and look forward to the years ahead with this wonderful family.

Becareful when you subscribe. I subscribed during a very vulnurable time in my life as I acquired a family member suddenly with alzheimers. I was attempting keep her at come. It turned out I used it for 2 months and then never used it again. I did not realize the membership auto renews. When I finally realized this it is now 2 years later. I realized 2 weeks after the renewal this year. I asked for them to cancel the service and pro-rate this year. They refused. Poor customer good will.

The experience has changed in the years. It has been streamlined. Although it seems easier, I’m disappointed in the time it takes for me to be notified. I have all my notifications on but there is a big delay in me getting my messages. To me that can be a game changer in getting the job.

What company is so stupid that they think using an app is better than a website. The website worked fine and now you have to use it on one eighth the screen size. Get some real IT and maybe you can get less complaints.

I have been a Nanny with Care.com for several years now meeting up with the requirements of the site policy & worked with several families professional in my mannerism, diligently carrying out my duties & cared for the children like mine. Also had good working relationship with parents/children I have worked for & interviewed with. My account was removed for no reason since 6 days while I was preparing for a set virtual interview that same day & didn't have a chance to communicate with the prospective employer. I have no idea as to why but I was sent an e-mail & told to appeal for reinstatement. The hurtful part is the communication to the families as that really made them feel confused, scared & lost of trust. Also caused me set job interviews canceled & whilst some put a stop to the employment offers making me feel so awful & pained considering not having any clue as to why my account was flagged. I really hope & praying that am told what I did or said wrong so to make amends as no one is perfect in life & ensure the situation never repeats itself. Having said all these I must confess care.com has been a huge blessing to me & I have also been a blessing to others that have met in this journey of my Nanny Career. I would plea & appreciate if any adjustment could be done & create room for improvement to the policies. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity as a member of care.com I would love to continue being part of the care.com family when my account gets reinstated.

My experience with Care.com has been positive overall. The platform was easy to use, and I appreciated being able to connect with families and job opportunities in one place. It gave me the chance to communicate with parents, discuss expectations clearly, and find positions that matched my experience and schedule. I also liked that families could view my profile, experience, and references, which helped build trust from the beginning. The process of applying for jobs and messaging families was simple and convenient. Overall, Care.com provided a helpful way to connect with families and explore childcare opportunities in a professional and organized environment.

Care helped me to find a job that’s been working out great. My issue with the app though is that it is not accurate. The job posting will say 1 child- then you view the job and it’s 2 or 3 children. It also doesn’t accurately portray the pay. I’ve looked on many jobs listed at $22/hr and you view the job and it’s $18/hr. This wastes a lot of time. Also, there is no way to save where you left off looking at jobs. Then you have to re-scroll through them all which is another waste of time!! So, when I am looking for supplementary or one day jobs it takes hours and isn’t very user friendly. Could someone work on those issues??
