Haven't had more than a few applicants on this site. Most of them are at least 30 or 40 minutes away. A lot of no responses or people that I have seen on site from 2010.(I did get a good response back then) One was so rude, I reported her. Very expensive, and confusing membership. I have spent around $160 and not one aide to help me with my daughter. Not a good experience this time around.

I was reluctant to hire care for my special needs son. He can be very challenging and I really needed someone who could do his 5th grade homework with him on a daily basis. Thanks to the wonderful tutor I hired, through Care.com, my son had a very successful 5th grade year!!! She is coming back to continue his success with 6th grade. Having such great success with hiring a tutor, I decided to find someone who could clean my home. She is absolutely wonderful! Balancing work and family is always a challenge and she has made my life so much easier! I'm very happy and always tell people that I hired my caregivers through Care.com!

Care.com made my job-seeking as a nanny a truly wonderful experience! I had a lot of job offers to choose from, and was able to select the job that worked best all around. So glad that families could see a video of me, see my qualifications and background check very easily. We used Care.com to find a nanny for our twin boys. We were totally skeptical about the whole process, as these are our first children and we haven't had to hire care before. We were so pleased with how easy it was and how great the quality of care we found was. We had so many applicants that it was hard to choose, but we narrowed it down and from there, it was a breeze to find more information on the nanny we were interested in. We were able to check her references and do a background check, which was really reassuring. We are so pleased we decided to give this service a try.

Site seem pretty simple,down to earth with a list of possible care providers with no free period and a list of different memberships to buy. After buying/paying for a membership you can access and try to find care(baby sitter for my children). 10 profiles were listed for my area, where none of them resulted in even one day of assistance with child care. Of the 10, I received 4 replies from numerous letters sent and a listing for child care job opportunity(15 an hour to watch 2 children). Of the 4 replies, all of them said they were too busy and 2 suggested other dates and times to help. After writing back, requesting to meet and working with their schedule changes there was either no response or another letter constant changes in schedule. It appears many of these care profiles might be fabricated, incompetent, preoccupied with other care work (since no one else is actually working or real) or something else but who knows? What a complete disappointment! The people from the site when contacted only cared about signing me up for a longer or higher priced membership, no attention or care and helping me find child care. Rip Off site, don't waste your money.
