Since I've been on care.com ,I've gotten text messages about jobs that are all scams! You can't even see my phone number on the site. It's so frustrating! Also, I've applied for job after job with no success! I have more experience than your average babysitter, and I still can't get a gig.

I was going along really enjoying Care.com its my primary source for jobs. Then I had a phone interview with a parent which was 15 minutes long and she gave me 3 stars and said I was OK would do in a pinch. Now I had never met this parent or talked face to face with her. How did she get this opinion. Well since this REVIEW I cannot get anyone to call on me for an interview. It seems like no one even looks after reading this. She royally messed up my career.

There seems to be more scams on care.com then actual job posings. Something needs to be done to better secure the site. Also, needs more advertising to solicit business.

I was skeptical at first. Now, after more than 3 months of using Care.com to connect with families who are looking for childcare, I am a FAN ! I have connected with many wonderful families - all of whom I would have never met otherwise. Thank you Care.com for giving me a way to earn extra income doing something I LOVE !

I emailed the care.com team about a week ago warning them about people contacting me from their site asking for a dog sitter, but turning out to be scammers. This happened with the only 3 people that contacted me. I was also contacted by a few others looking for help, but I had to unfortunately turn them down because of my schedule or they seemed sketchy enough to be another scammer. No response from the team, so overall not a good experience. I had my profile for about 2 months(which seems like a short time), but nothing good came from it. It was generally a waste of a paid membership and I would not sign up for another website like it.

I had a woman leave an unsavory and unfair remark on my profile which I believe sways the opinion of prospective employers. I DO NOT know this woman, never met her, and only briefly spoke to her on the phone. Yet your management will not remove this unfair remark. This is not right. This is unfair and unkind. I totally agree when an employer/employee has had a bad experience that they should be able to write freely in an unbiased way to help future possibilities make informed choices. HOWEVER - I do not know that woman who made that nasty remark. Why do you allow that to stain my (excellent)reputation?

I got my first job with Care.com only days after I enrolled.
