I'm thankful for Care.com because it's an excellent resource for matching up providers with care givers and you can find work in a short period of time.
However, I feel they do need to update a few features on their website\app. For example, I'd like the ability to "hide or delete" postings I have already applied to or am not interested in due to scheduling issues.
Other than that, care.com is an excellent tool for finding work!

Very bad
I have purchased a three month membership on care.com I have yet to receive any job offer on care.com random people have found my email and email me direct but not in my care.com profile I don't think these people are being screen properly I have left my telephone so I can talk to them in person and they never respond back I find it odd that they would contact me through my email and not my care.com profile where they complete their information to me it's a waste of time and a waste of money you're better off putting an ad in the newspaper and trying to look that way .

Hi Natacha, we don't share your e-mail address with anyone and for your safety only recommend messaging with families and individuals through the message feature we provide through your profile. If anyone contacts you that seems suspicious, feel free to let us know so we can have our Safety team take a further look.

Disappointing experience.
My experience as a service provider has been poor. It's a great concept to connect providers with people who need services, but the execution is disappointing, at least in my area. Might be awesome for big cities, but not so much for small towns. Few jobs are posted, there is constant pressure to fill out an availability calendar, which does not apply in all cases, and I am confused as to whether this is limiting my exposure. Unclear how that works. When you apply for jobs, you rarely hear from someone. Most jobs are closer to the big city, and even if you are willing to travel for a client, they seem to want a next door neighbor, not someone 20 miles away, even if you regularly travel to a work site. It looked promising but the actual experience did not pan out as hoped. I say this understanding that Care.com has no real control over the professionalism or courtesy of the people using it, nor can they help the infrequent utilization of certain areas.
Response from Care.comNov 23, 2015
Thanks for your understand Tonya and we're sorry you were able to find a job close to you. As you mentioned, all the jobs posted are posted by families and individuals themselves and they are responsible for responding and hiring. We do hope you find a perfect fit near you soon!

Almost for free
I been professional caregiver for 19-20yrs , I know my job very well. I been with people who had different illnesses or just need a companionship , I could tell and teach you what to do and when and how and so much more. People on Care .com looking for someone who wants to work almost for free or barely for nothing . Care.com worries about caregivers background and other , but have care.com provided any background of the people who looking for a person to work for them ? So many situations when you go for interview and you meet people who just having fun interviewing , entertaining them self , literally waisting ppls time and other.
Sometimes I see so many same ads and same people who looking for a person to work for them , but when you reach out ,contact them it's like they don't exists . So it makes me wonder if care.com just makes up those ads to look like they actually have so much to offer.
I am getting more and more disappointed with care.com
Response from Care.comNov 23, 2015
Hi Aliona, as a self-service website, all of the jobs are posted by individuals and families looking for care. They set all the rates and requirements for each job posting and schedule the interviews and hiring. We're sorry if you haven't received responses or found a job but encourage you to not give up. We wish you the best!
