The site is easy enough to install and navigate on my phone, but I have had this app for maybe three or four months now and haven't gotten a single job from it, which is the whole reason I'm paying to use it. If nothing turns up soon I'm going to have to cancel.

Few issues about the Care.com link. Background link is in wrong page. It suppose to be in profile but went in other link. I did not realize that I had to paid again. It did not appear that I was background checked six months ago. It best to show the expiration date when I need to renew my background. Secondly. the background check preferred and preferred + are way too high. Other jobs I had which the background check were free including child abuse and DMV. I had few jobs from care.com and its comes and goes. Its mostly temporary. They were not always the best. The payments were good. Its something to do while I look for full time teaching jobs. These jobs are vary sources of what you need to help them. Most of the time they do more than we do. Unfortunately

This is my second time joining care.com.Frist time I join I was looking for a,job with a,special needs child I have tons of experience I work in a group home with high risk kids very few to no response no jobs. Rejoin again response to a couple of ads for part time housekeeping one response? Once again tons of experience.But here is the strange coinidence I email support to cancel my membership all of a sudden I am getting responses which is leading me to believe this site is fix. Second issue I stop using the site for six months and the minute I rejoin I am getting hit up to get a background check that's not right don't you keep on file the background check I did 6 month prior? Plus since I work for the state of NJ I have not only been background check plus finger printed. Seem to me care.com is a site not really interested in helping place people with great family it just another site making a buck and a dime. And I know am not alone I went on line and read the reviews alot of x user of the site feel the same way I do. you know how I have found work I place a sign in my local food store on the bulletin board and I have gotten a ton of work see old school works and I didn't have to pay this fee and that fee and get what nothing

I started my own cleaning business in May. I signed up for Care.com and tried the no charge membership first, then signed up for the least expensive paid membership. Keeping track of what jobs I sent applications to was confusing because I was using both the app and the desktop site. The pricing and schedule options are confusing, it is difficult to tell if a potential client is looking for someone to work each day M-F from 9-12 OR someone who could work one day a week from 9-12. The pricing is confusing. Some people would state $25 per job that was expected to take 2-3 hours on their description but choose $20-30 per hour as the option listed. Some people offered $20-30 per hour but would then state "Pay may be more for the right person." I would respond to them with my fee and never hear from them again. I think I received fewer responses due to this confusion. An option for service providers to note "minimum" would be nice... I only agree to 3 hour or longer jobs, people were expecting me to drive for 30 minutes to be paid for one hour. All in all, word of mouth and social media is working better for my business needs.

A good way to find out about caregiver jobs. There is a lot of competition and I've only managed to get two jobs through them. Their calendar system is practically impossible to use. There has to be a better method. Also sometimes then send a list of new jobs only they are jobs I've already seen. And I signed up for premium when they were offering a discount but I never got the discount.

I have been pleased with my profile placement/premium membership. I have been hired by several people, but when I needed to find a tutor for my son, I couldn't send any messages unless I paid for another premium membership. This isn't fair and should be changed.

I have paid "Care" to market my profile for pet service, I have paid for a security background check and have had no opportunity for employment. I have submitted response applications for work but it seems to me that my applications are not being forwarded. "Care" is always requesting more money for another level of guarantee employment.
