I like that you can see how responsive caregivers are. It makes it easier to see who to contact. I hired a babysitter and a housekeeper and they are both fabulous!

I guess part of the problem was that I did not know how Care.com works. First person I hired never showed up. Second one was a gem.

Website is difficult to manage, a hassle to update calendars. Also frustrating that the only way to have anyone see a profile is to pay. Should advise people posting on Care that unless you pay for membership your profile will not be seen.

Additionally, please know that caregivers are not required to pay for a membership in order to search for and apply to jobs, or for your profile to be seen. As long as your profile is approved it will be visible to other members, and you can improve your ranking in search results just by the overall completion of your account. When viewing your profile, your Profile Strength will be listed on the upper right across from your bio details. Here you can view a list of what is needed to increase your Profile Strength, including links to each item!
