I had lots of applicants but lucky to find someone to walk my dog and do errands light housekeeping was the perfect person lot of students for dog walking but this candidate was perfect a stay at home mom and available any time and able to do other small errands etc as I am having trouble walking and contemplating surgery

This site makes promises but does not live up to them. People never respond to applications. They claim better replies with a background check so that you spend more money with them. Even with a spotless background check, no one ever responds to your ads. I think maybe all these ads are false ads made up by Care.com so you think their are jobs out there. But there really aren't any legitimate ones so it appears.

I was looking for a part-time housekeeper with experience. She also needed to like animals. The site gave me several good candidates, and I am happy to say I hired the second person I interviewed. I just wish the background check would be included in the fee.

We have had two great experiences using care.com. The first was when we needed someone to stay with our dogs for a week while we were out of town & the second was when we were looking for a nanny. Both times it was so easy, we posted a job & had many applicants to choose from. Most were qualified for our specific needs, & we were able to interview different people & find the best person for us.

I posted my job and got many responses of interest. Unfortunately only one person responded to my request for an interview. I interviewed the one person but felt she did not have enough experience for this particular child.

Hi Judy! Sorry to hear you did not get replies from applicants, that can be really frustrating. I suggest re posting your job ad and see if you get new applicants. I would also try browsing the caregiver lists and reach out to the ones you think will be a good fit. I hope this helps and let us know if you have other questions or concern.

We were desperate when we heard about Care.com. We had low expectations, for we were faced with a special need circumstance, and were running out of time to find care. We live in a fairly small area & didn't feel we'd find quality care this way, but MUCH to our surprise, we did! We found the PERFECT fit for our family. Though there weren't many applicants that would have "fit the bill," the one we narrowed it down to was absolutely the best choice we could have made & is like family to us. We trust her wholeheartedly. Yes, the costs are higher than daycare & similar, but for us, the cost proved well worth the price.

I cancelled my account many years ago but my credit card continues to be charged. This is pure and utter fraudulent behavior on the Care.com company, and I'm truly disgusted. I need to have my card credited immediately or I will file a dispute with the better business bureau.
