This site is awful, and as stated below, a complete scam! I had to pay a monthly fee just to access their site and contact caregivers, tutors, home cleaners, etc. Oh, and they don't vet these people with your monthly fees, you have to PAY for those too, on each and every individual! Most of which would not reply, or, we would set up an appointment and wait...wait...wait with a no show, no call, no response. I finally had "had it" when our "tutor" showed signs of a serious mental health disease and started bombarding me with hateful texts, calls and coming by our home (we live in a private community with a culdesac a few houses down, there is no reason for anyone to drive by repeatedly!) This tutor was adamant I leave her a glowing review immediately (most likely before she "turned.") I contacted Care to learn how to edit my review to earn families of how this individual was treating a "client." What does Care do? KICK ME OFF THE SITE! Yes, kicked ME off, no explanation. I went to the Better Business Bureau, as I did nothing wrong, they told me I should have gone to the police (not them). Whaaaaa?! So families shouldn't be alerted? The sent me excuses for CARE GIVERS not families regarding their "policies," I demanded at the very least...a REFUND. Weeks later, the predator remains on the Care website, I received a check for only 1 month. If I could give this site a Negative Five, I would. Yes, SCAM!

Trying to find work on their site for a month now. NOT A SINGLE INTEREST!. I have 20 years experience. How is it possible that not 1 person would be interested? I went online to find someone responsible to watch my puppy for a few days so I could go out of town. Well I was suggested Care.com. I have security cameras so it wasn't hard to track the sitter. Day one was good even though over night stays had not been discussed the sitter stayed anyways. Day two was ok with two visits. Day three not so responsible. The sitter left my dog unattended for 13! Hours. Last day once again not a responsible sitter let my puppy for 15! Hours this time. So please people screen these Care.com members...

Absolutely abysmal. They will shut your account down for no reason whatsoever, and then insist that the client has zero rights. Is this even legal?! I applied to several jobs and wasted my time doing so. They are also transphobic, because your profile name and your legal name they can use for background checks CANNOT be different; they must be exactly the same. I sent a reply that spoke my mind, only for it to be blocked by their automaton servers of doom. Whether caregiver or parent, RUN, don't walk, from this corrupted scheme of a website !!! How about you get with the times and give your members basic human rights, rather than being stronghold tyrants choking individuals in the vicegrips of your ego and depriving humans of their agency? I am appalled and disgusted at your political oppression, defiance, denial, blatant suppression, arrogance, and shadowmongering. I have done nothing wrong, and the least you could offer if you had an iota of warmth inside your heart is notification and rationale for a member's termination. Otherwise, there is nothing separating you from dictatorships. Appalling, and I will warn everyone of your site from now on. To think I even wasted time on your website applying, only to be subject to your fickle fancies and delight of purgation and denial. Go f... yourself.

This company Is SWIMMING IN "DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES & non required Charges for service. BEWARE.

I have been trying to find a job on care.com since December and on their web page are tons of families looking for the right person. Not one phone call or email from anyone but I was told to upgrade to premium which sound fishy why should I have to pay to get a job. So the more I look to this company I find out more information like care.com had fake families on their web page. The next thing I found out if you upgrade to premium they automatically take out of your account funds with out your knowledge. The 3rd I found out care.com is not the same company as it used to be years ago. Who ever is in charge of this company is a liar. And when you email the company they don’t give you a straight answer. I would really like to get the government involved to look into this company the only problem is they know the law better then me . I am sure theY figure out a way that this is legal. Tons of complaints on BBB.

This company does not practice good standards. I believed I was buying a 1-month subscription, as described. They don’t make it clear that when you pay, you’re agreeing to automatic renewal each month. And even When I discovered within a day of being charged incorrectly for another month, they would not refund my money. Any reputable business would refund a mistaken charge the day after it’s been made. Stay away from this site. Total scam!!
