I would actually give it zero stars if I could. Customer service is non existent. You won't get your questions/concerns answered. You won't be able to get anyone to call you, even when you email in a request to do so. You will constantly find yourself paying for the most basic features like being able to search for jobs, profiles, or to see or send messages. Care.com has found a way to make it impossible to use it without paying more and more fees that increase every 3 months.

If I could give them a -1000 I would!! This is a rotten company. For no known reason, they lock out parents looking for nannies and do the same to potential caregivers. Their policy is that they can cancel a person at any time and offer no explanation! This should be illegal and Care,.com should be fined or SHUT DOWN for discrimination. I know Walt Disney World Certified Caregivers with perfect background checks, who have worked for years at the resorts, but who started looking for work on Care.com and were kicked off for NO REASON. One day they simply could not access their accounts. Several of these caregivers were African American, and when these caregivers inquired Care.com said they did not have to offer any explanation. No company should be allowed to just shut people out without a process of either restoration or independent verification. Care.com claims they have 14 million members but 63% of people give them a "1" star...that says something about their poor business practices.Care.com should be sued for discrimination.

This is a terrible company! You cannot reply to candidates without a premium subscription and then when you do, the candidates do not even respond to you! They should be shut down. Do not use this company's services. They are a complete waste of time and money!

I paid for a premium membership in February, the COVID pandemic hit soon after, and I was not able to use the site for over 3 months. My subscription auto-renewed in May, and by the time I realized this had occurred from my credit card statement in late June, they would not consider a refund - even though records show I haven't used the site in over 3 months. I asked customer service 3 times to reconsider, given COVID/financial stress/not using the site, and each time they simply reiterate that their policy will not allow it. Well, they write their own policies and it is totally within their power to bend the rules in extreme circumstances. I am extremely disappointed with the inflexibility during times like these, and surprised - especially with a website name like "care.com." So in summary - BEWARE when you sign up for a premium membership.

I injured my foot and I needed someone to help me for a few months with errands and driving. I signed up but then the pandemic came along. Needless to say, I couldn't hire anyone or even interview. I contacted them this month and asked if I could get a discount on another month. They said none are available at this time! I wasn't like I was asking for a free month or that it was my fault I couldn't interview or hire someone!

What a joke! Well what an absolute nightmare this company actually is, but finally after endless unnecessary emails and poor feedback results, they’ve finally done what was requested. Of course no explanation, no apology. Just the usual very nonchalant poor attitude that is their standard. Pathetic, and I won’t be making that mistake again.
