they hide behind their website and if you are lucky enough to get a response at all they pretty much tell you you have been screwed.

There is no way to contact care.com. No phone number, no email. Their site does not work well as it should. I have also had three illegals apply to work. The care.com site should be held responsible for illegals. Also, they have no where to annotate when an employee walks off the job....QUITS.

Prøvede også med et jobopslag, og der var der kun en, der svarede med et copy-paste af sin profil tekst. Ehhh nej tak du kan da forholde dig til mit opslag eller kravle tilbage under din sten. Jeg skrev dog høfligt tilbage, og spurgte vedkommende om hun havde læst jobopslaget. Intet svar. Man tænker om det er ægte profiler på deres side??? En jeg skrev til direkte står der på vedkommendes profil, at hun svarer "med det samme". Eh nej. Fjolset gad ikke engang svare på en seriøs henvendelse i samme postnummer. Glad for jeg kun købte en måneds abonnement, så jeg kan opsige. Spild af tid.

If I could give negative stars I would. A total scam and they keep auto-renewing without your permission even when you have chosen to have chosen no auto-renew on your account. Please do not create an account. You can never get hold of the customer service. I am suprised they are still in business and no one has filed a case. We truly need to file a law suit against this company for unethical business practise.

after i register they take out my money and after 5 minute they cancel my membership. scam

This website needs to be shut down. My bank account has been cleaned out from this company allowing scammers on here. Ive done alot of investigating And seems to be care.com are in with it all. Please never be fooled with this website do not use. Care.com if you care you will shut down as you are harming alot of people.

I'll start by saying I'm not new to care.com. I'm a nanny who has used this website to secure positions for nearly 10 years. When I first joined I would have given it 5 stars. Over the years they've made confusing and unnecessary changes in order to make money off of both the families seeking care and the providers looking for work. Their goal appears to be to force both parties to pay in order for either to read messages that are sent. Now, during a time when many companies are waiving fees to support their customers, Care.com's CEO has elected to prey on those who are most vulnerable during the pandemic. This month it was announced that providers will be strong armed into paying for a mandatory background check and continue to be charged this fee annually simply to keep their account open. (Keep in mind you can walk into any police station across the US and request a background check on yourself for free, so having this done online is simply a courtesy not a requirement.) To make matters worse, the service Care uses to run these checks is notoriously unreliable. Instead of using your SSN it simply runs the name and address you provide. Which means if anyone who has lived at the address you provide has a criminal background it will associate you with this record and your account will be banned. (This is especially problematic for renters). You will see dozens of reviews stating their accounts were closed for similar reasons. For many caregivers, myself included, this is the final straw. The site is riddled with various paywalls that do nothing to help connect families with potential applicants. Unless changes are made to reverse these fees then all reputable users will be leaving.

Avoid!!! This is a scam.. please avoid . They have wiped out my bank account . This site needs to be closed down asap!!!
