I signed up just to check things out - my child isn't even born yet - and I must have clicked something I didn't understand because I suddenly started getting emails and calls from day cares I had allegedly "reached out to." One place called me three times within 15 minutes and when I finally answered, exasperated, they were taken aback at why I would be overwhelmed/annoyed by this. Thanks for the "service," Care, but why don't you let people have a little control of who they decide to reach out to instead of spamming them and wasting time?

If I could give them no stars and still post I would!!!! They deleted me because a lady I didn't want to work for contacted them and told them lies on me! I've used them for years! I had paid for a background check and passed because I have NO record not to pass. This person reported lies because she's a mean unhappy person! Care.com will soon be replaced,,, They are unfair!!! they allow people on there that are predictors and up to no good,, but then allow people like this person who reported lies to them and then delete my account. I will not stop until more people are aware of how dirty they are! DO NOT USE THEM!!!

Care.com deleted my account overnight for no reason. I’ve been a provider as well as a customer. I’ve had the most five star reviews out of any provider, ever. I’ve done business for years with them. It appears that anybody can falsify allegations against you and they act accordingly. This is so contrary to what we stand for as a democracy and our right to due process. It’s heartbreaking that a person spends years to build an upright reputation with our communities and have someone flat out ruin it. Mind you, from a home that was never, ever visited.

I have been with care.com since 2014. I found some families and babysit for them through this website. It was all fine until they started forcing you to pay for a screening charge when I had the free basic plan. I used care.com so I can make some extra cash as my full-time job does not pay enough and finding babysitting jobs through the website really help with payments I needed to make. Now all of a sudden when I logged on, they told me that to continue to use my account, I needed to pay $15 for a screening fee. It's stupid that I have to pay a $15 screening fee to even look for jobs now when I have been doing it for free for 6 years. This dumb screening fee has now made me want to delete my account with care.com. I even tried making a new account and it outright asks you for the $15 screening fee that's required now. They take it out of your bank account every year. This site is not free anymore, now it seems like they want to scam you out of your money. I am not going to pay $15 a year to try to find a family when I was doing it for free before. Don't bother with them as if you are looking for a job or if you are trying to find someone they require the $15 screening no matter what. Now I cannot even login to my account to cancel my membership because I am being forced to pay for the $15 screening fee when I login to my account.

Selvom jeg opsagde mit abonnement og svarede på om hvorvidt jeg havde fundet det jeg skulle så fortsætter care.com med at trække penge fra min konto. Jeg fraråder kraftigt at benytte denne side. Det virker som scam.

I have been their member (both on the caretaker side and hiring side) since 2015!!! It’s going down so badly, so I don’t recommend them at all! 1. There are so many scammers on this site! So be cautious... 2. The site gets hacked pretty often, so be prepared that your phone number, email address and other personal informations will be stolen! Hopefully the bank informations are kept in a more secure place, but I don’t trust them anymore. 3. I have paid HUNDREDS of dollars for premium memberships. They deleted my account with no reason and they sent me a template email saying that they don’t have to explain their decision. What the f***? Are you serious? I contacted them but no answer yet. Enough is enough. For the company: you DON’T CARE about anything but money. If you don’t need us to hire or provide services through your site don’t bother to advertise yourself as the biggest caregiver site, because you are not that! The people will start to see through you and they’ll go somewhere else!

joined this website about a year ago and out of the blue they deleted my profile and would not explain why. I have done nothing wrong on my end. People rely on this website for their lively hood and to be able to secure a job in a specific career field. This company is a scam they delete peoples profiles for no reason? How can they get away with this? How do we know they are not secretly discriminating against people? Has anyone thought of doing a class action lawsuit?

Care.com cancelled and kept the money. I gave a negative review on a caregiver and they immediately cancelled me after 2 weeks. I had paid for a 3 month subscription. You have to “behave” with your reviews or you lose your money. It appears honesty will get you cancelled.
