Waste of time and money... walk away from this site. Misleading, autobilling without any notice... looking like a scam to me

It appears this company makes a practice of charging people's credit cards each month, even after legitimately cancelling the service. Refusing, ever, to refund any money to consumers in good faith. This company is definitely taking money from hard working families, and is getting away with it. Why?? Not all consumers check for reviews, if they did ,they wouldn't sign up!!! I have decided to follow this company on various social media platforms to share my experience whenever someone ask for a review. There are far too many people who have had the same experience with this wretched company to not validate the horrible reviews. Writing reviews sure can help, but social media will probably reach more people. This company should not be allowed to continue the bait and switch game that they seem to have down to perfection. Anyone thinking about signing up for this membership will have regrets. I do not recommend this company on any level.

Care.com is a complete waste of time and money. After forcing premium on me I STILL wasn't able to find help. Even though I was paying well above the going rate and had very flexible hours. Then when I contacted them they wouldn't do a thing, even though the website makes it seem like with premium you're guaranteed a match. So yes don't do it. It's terrible. Just use a real service instead, more money up front maybe but at least your house gets cleaned and your kids get watched.

I registered on care.com to seek employment as a nanny. Later, I received an email from care.com saying that a member (a mom I spoke to regarding working for her as a nanny) requested my background check - at no cost to me. Underneath was a link to approve the background check. I clicked the link and continued with the steps, until it was complete. Later, I found out I was charged $140.45. I contacted care.com 3 times since. They refuse to refund my money. They claim that I ‘requested my own background check’ and that’s why I’m being charged. All I did was I followed the link in the email where it stated the background check would be AT NO COST to me. When I’ve followed through with the steps, I got charged $140.45. I later tried to resolve the issue through Better Business Bureau. The care.com person who responded to my BBB request even admitted that this is their website’s malfunction – yet, I will not be refunded, because it’s their policy for the background checks to be non-refundable. This website is a complete scam!

The website is always down. No housekeepers respond to messages, this is basically a scam. The one person who responded is a scam for sure because on the website they listed the cost at $15 an hour but the people who were calling me, yes people as in multiple, were quoting $153 to clean weekly.

Dreadful no contact despite phone calls and emails.actually about 30 people have applied for the job.can't pay on website as they won't let me so I cannot reply to anyone or take advert down.dont waste your money with them as no communication whatsoever.and poor frustrated people applying for a job that doesn't exist now due to the fact I might as well talk to a robot.v v bad service.

This is a complete joke and scam! Its just programmed to take people's money. No actual help from neither the administrator nor the supposed sitters. In real world, these people don't exist but the scheme to draft people's money. Impossible to get hold of anyone. God punish everyone complicit in this crime

Cannot do anything without a PRICEY subscription fee. Useless. Sorry I ever gave them my e-mail address.
