Feel totally taken advantage of. I paid for a month than less than 2 hours after I paid I got an email my profile wasn’t approved I needed to update my profile and less than half hour later I got an email my account had been canceled for going against community standards. All I did was place an ad for a housekeeper. Now I have to fight to try to get my money back..such a scam company!!

I signed up to be able to search their site for nannies. The next day I received an email saying that they had a nanny meeting my requirements. When I clicked on their "View Application" button, a message popped up that I could see that person's qualifications if I "upgraded" to a Premium service, at an annual cost of $166.21 and that renewals were automatic. Needless to say, I'm out of there.

I had checked Care.com as I was looking for a housekeeper. I did not hire anyone but somewhere in my search I must have agreed to membership at a ost of $42.51. To my surprise I saw this as a pending charge on my bank account on May 7, 2021. I attempted to contact Care.com multiple times and finally reached them 4 days later. They refused to refund my fee for the membership but assured me that there was no negotiation in their policy. I am sure that I am not the first person to inadvertently click on their “membership button”. I an curious how much money they make due to this error. Never will i deal with this company!!!

Care.com is a joke. I hired someone and they did 2 no call no shows, they were never on time and then adtef I paid to upgrade my membership, they took my money but they wouldn't update me to the premium membership so I couldn't find a back up. They have flaky people and they don't do anything about it. It's really sad because we needed help, thought we finally had help, but then they flake on us. I'm so disgusted with everything right now. I tried calling then but it wouldn't let me talk to a live person so we now have a $39 charge on my account with no access to any other caregivers. If anyone has any other suggestions for care givers that are affordable please let me know!

Ive been with care.com for many years and have had several clients who love and adore me. And I canceled my subscription with them two years ago because the company itself was a mess. No one speaks clear English and the systems always down. Just recently it prompted me to get a background check done. Not really sure why. But it cost me 20 dollars for them to have someone else do it. Well after using my last 20 it took them a week to get my results back and care.com decided that they're gonna temporarily terminate my account. Because what was "found through sterling background". I call sterling and again a non English speaking rep answered and didn't have an answer then transferred me and I was on hold for 20 minutes. So unprofessional and unbelievable. I've been a CNA for 14 years. And because of there stupidity and unprofessionalism a lot of clients are missing out on great care. If I could give -0 I would. A 1 is too good for this company. Fraud!!!!

Looked to see our status and when I clicked on upgrade it signed me us w/o term or ant info. Showed up on my credit card today. Cannot find an active phone# anywhere to get this corrected. None of them work... They have 0 support or contact info. I'm going to have to block my card. If I did business like this I would not last very long.

BEWARE !!! Care.com is a huge rip-off. They charge your credit card account instantly and then give you access to a list of potential caregivers who supposedly “match” your requirements. What they don’t tell you is that most of them are already employed and are unavailable. After contacting too many “matches” over many days we received one response. Sadly she was not a good match for our requirements. Apparently Care.com will not refund subscriptions so YOUR MONEY IS GONE - WASTED!! IT’S A HUGE SCAM!

I have been a member for many years and I have been trying to cancel and I get no response. I have written 3 emails, left voice mails and tried to live chat ( no one is ever available). My membership came due on 5/4 , I canceled on line and they pushed it out until next year 2022 and charged my credit card. Thus company has the worst customer service. Have received no call back, no response to my emails and of course no live chat. I would even give them 1 star but had to give sometime or I couldn't continue. Will be disputing charges now they left me with no choice.
