This is a complete waste of money - do not waste your time or money on this website service. We signed up to find a nanny to watch our children, and received a lot of interest from nannies registered on this website. We set-up interviews and every single one of the applicants were a no show. We soon realized that CARE.com pays for the top 10 websites for reviews on their company on google.com search engine - you need to really search to find the accurate, honest reviews which reflect the reality of how awful this company is. After two weeks they refused to refund us (even though we were not able to find ONE applicant to return a call, or show up for an interview, and we had upwards of 50 applicants). We even asked if we could just pay for one month of service instead of the full year, to get SOME money back - and they refused. This is a scam, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY - you will regret it.

Care.com is a SCAM. I Was looking for caregiver for mom. When I first registered I thought I try it because it said you can cancel anytime so I thought I would get billed monthly. As soon as I registered it took my money for a whole year. I didn’t even use the service for a week. I reached out to a couple of caregivers and was only contacted by one person. She said she would call me back because she would be away but she never did. I searched for phone numbers for care.com to cancel service to get a refund and couldn’t find one only an email that says someone will contact me in 48 hours and it never happened. Went into my account settings and followed all cancellation protocols. Hope I don’t get charged again. Have emailed every way I can to Care.com but no answer. They took $155.00 upfront for a service that is flimsy. STAY AWAY from Care.com. SCAM.

Terrible.. no responses to requests and no support to find a carer

Horrible customer service!

Shockingly bad, they advertise as if you can pay monthly then take all the payments in one go and I am now fighting to get my money back, disgusting, terrible service. They don't respond to your complaints, I'm now having to raise it with my bank and possibly take to the small claims court, do not use!!!

Clearly lying. When using a premium membership (which is available for an extortionate rate) you will get "messages" from carers who meet the requirements of the job you have posted. These messages are not actually sent by the carer, but are in fact a lazy copy and paste of their profile description sent to you in a direct message under the guise that it has come from their account. This is supposed to make you think that people are actually using the site to find jobs, however you will get no further messages after that. It is clear that the site intentionally uses these deceptions to make money, rather than actually trying to provide a service to make an honest income. So bad that I signed up here just to leave this review. Avoid at all costs and save yourself money, time and stress.

This company is a scam I tried to hire people about 15 people replied and I selected about 3 after we did the hiring process they just cancel or disappear. This happened so many times the company just show you list of attractive workers but not actual workers it is all fake.

FRAUD, Care.com company needs to be investigated. I attempted to contact the company to refund my $31.00 "refused". I will NEVER AGAIN use this company for anything. I tried to cancel the subscription, but was unsuccessful. My credit card company has been notified about this useless company.
