Extremely suspicious site. They never reply to any of your messages/concerns. Have not been "approved" (OMG), but nevertherless have been charged for annual membership. Realy surprised it is still not banned as so many negative reviews just confirm their fraudulent activity.

If you are looking to find immediate care and want to request a background check be prepared to wait well over the 3-5 business days quoted by care.com. It is impossible to talk to anyone. They charge a ridiculous amount for a background check as well. They nickel and dime for every little thing!!! Post on facebook! Its free!

SUPER SHADY. was unable to cancel my membership. I tried on 3 different platforms/computers and was unable to get it cancelled. I followed their help center directions and everything. Called their phone that I researched on google since their website has no phone number.... that phone was disconnected. Finally saw a chat box and was able to connect with someone on a saturday morning. they said they cancelled it for me. I hope they did or else I am disputing the crap out of these charges.

I wish I had come here and seen these terrible reviews before I signed up for Care.com. I was looking for a nanny and had to sign up for the basic membership to contact anyone. Unbeknownst to me, they charged me two other hidden fees in addition to the basic membership I agreed to. In totally, I was charged around $260 to send a single email to a potential nanny. I tried to resolve the issue with them, assuming that it was some glitch or mistake. However, after 5+ times reaching out to them, I kept being told all purchases are nonrefundable.

They allow anyone to post a review on you even if you haven’t worked for that person. I had a man harass me and then post a negative review bec I rejected him and they allowed it. They do not care about their nannies

They would not approve my post for 5 days then still took these 5 days off my 30 day subscription. When I requested that my subscription be extended for the 5 days that I was ignored over and over. Horrible experience I will never go back.
