If I could give zero stars , I would . They are beyond the worse company I have ever encountered. They pressure to get screened so you will appear higher up. I got a job about 3 years ago. I did the job and then was NEVER paid. You can't talk to anyone in this company. Their chat doesn't work. They are robots. They give no warning that they are going to renew and just do it. I looked at my credit card account and saw a pending charge. Contacted them and THEY REFUSE TO CANCEL AND REFUND EVEN THOU IT HASN'T POSTED. WHAT A SCAM, A COMPLETE RIP OFF.

I used to use care.com when I was a caregiver. Now, I NEED a caregiver. The only way I can log onto my account now is to do a background check and pay for a $19 screening fee. Nothing says this is needed for a person who needs care. When I tried to delete my account so I can create a new one as a person needing care, I can't, because I have to be logged in. I'm not paying $19 and going through a background check just so I can delete my account. When I try to click the Contact Us little bubble in the corner to ask about this, it makes you log in, which I CAN'T DO without paying them money! There is no other way to reach customer service. No phone number or email. This site is a joke.

Absolute ripoff

I was only trying to see how it worked, and found to my chagrin that they had signed me up: i have been receiving applications for a job I don't have, and I can't kill it. I've tried everything. They are tying up my email account.

I would not recommend this site to anyone. I have been on there for several years and have yet to get a real job. I did one job and after I cleaned a filthy apt and was " supposed" to be paid, the payer blocked her number and refused to pay. They renewed my supposed employee check and refused to refund me after I informed them they did not send an email about renewal. You can't actually talk or chat with anyone. DON'T SUBSCRIBE. COMPLETE RIP OFF. continuation. THEY CONTACT ME THRU HERE AND I CONTACT THEM IN HOPES THEY WILL DO SOMETHING. THEY REFUSED AGAIN ALTHOUGH THE CHARGE IS STILL IN PENDING MOOD AND NOT POSTED. THIS COMPANY IS A COMPLETE AND UTTER SHAM

I would actually give these guys zero Stars if it wasn't for them connecting me with a few people that were great they have a terrible problem with not paying people holding their money not answering a phone or getting back to emails. That just coming from a care givers point of view!

I literally signed up, and went with the subscription plan, but now when i tried to enter my information i keep getting “an error occurred” and i can’t even cancel the subscription! I want my money back and i want it canceled.

An absolute scam! You don’t end up with a 1.5 star review with over 2205 reviews without reason. I signed up looking for a babysitter, and I couldn't see any messages that were sent to me without paying for a “Premium” subscription. I am so so glad I looked them up before signing up. Stay as far away as possible. You would have more luck asking strangers on the street to look after your child.
