The predatory subscription model is indicative of the amount of faith this company has in the "service" they provide. There is no choice but to be locked in to an automatically recurring charge, and no refunds once charged. As I should have suspected from this model, I was unable to find the care I was seeking through them. I suspect a large portion of their revenue comes from customers who forget, or are unable, to cancel. 100% stay away.

I have tried this company 2 or 3 times and each time people don't show up, say they will come and work and then don't show up. Most are unqualifand. this is just a website that once your fee. I would not look for a caregiver of any kind on this website. Their advertisements are purely propaganda.

They are set up to bill you forever and to never close the account. They are deceptive how they do it. They have no way to post complaints or messages. You have to call in person and talk to a customer service representative who is an obvious contract worker.

I was looking at job listings on Google and saw one for Care.com for pet sitting. So I signed up for Care.com and it made me fill out a profile before I could look at the job ads. I did so and it then only gave me the option to provide childcare when I wanted to do housekeeping and pet care. I continued on hoping to be able to edit it and then it said I would have to pay either $4.99 or $18.99 to continue. I did not want to do that but it didn't give me any other option except that payment page. They would not let me delete my account or unsubscribe from the many spam emails they were sending me. This site is truly a scam.

Paid a recurring fee, with no contact from the company at all. Wasn’t aware that I had signed up for a recurring fee, and didn’t log in again after being completely unsuccessful organising cleaning support for my uncle. Never received any ongoing emails to prompt that I had a contract with this company. When asked for a refund i was just told that they didn’t offer them.

This company is not user friendly. Their pathway to sign up to find caregivers directed me to sign up as a caregiver, and I was unaware of this until after I had already paid for a background to find out that parents seeking caregivers don’t need to do that. The company has refused to refund me for this. Furthermore, their app is set up so that you can pay caregivers through the app. It does not disclose that this payment goes through without your consent. I had 2 sitters cancel on me who were paid for services not rendered. Care.com has proven to be completely incompetent in refunding parents for these fraudulent charges. Neither sitter took the initiative to correct this as a business owner and we’re perfectly fine stealing from me. One, I booked out a month in advance, they cancelled 3 days prior, put me in a bind whereby I lost money having to get a replacement for work. On top of this, they took payment from me for canceling. A lot of scammers on this site stealing from parents in need of help and the company does nothing to rectify this, pretending like they don’t have the capacity to refund parents and charge fake caregivers for fraudulent charges. Absolutely unacceptable. I’m filing complaints with the FTC and Attorney General over this company as a result of this horrible experience. 0 out of 10. Will never use again. If they’re uninterested in making sure they aren’t a cesspool for scammers, it’s not a safe place to find someone to take care of your child.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST SERVICE. THEY HAVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE TERRIBLE REFUND POLICY AND IT IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO UBDERSTAND THEIR WEBSITE.

THEY TOOK MY MONEY FOR ANOTHER MONTH OF SERVICE THAT I DID NOT AUTHORIZE AND THEY REFUSE TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK .THERE ADS ARE A LIE AND MISLEADING. THEY CON YOU AND KEEP TAKING MONEY OFF YOUR CARD
