Care.com won't refund $121 of subscriptions fees after I attempted to cancel the day the subscription is up for renewal. When I called them up, they said whatever they charge is non-refundable, even when I haven't used any of their new service period. Care.com is a scam - terrible service, don't get hooked with any of their subscriptions.

Please,be careful with this company as they take automatically payment every month, after I was find it I was trying to cancel my membership and it's impossible as there no option for cancel it I'll try to contact to customer service but it's something wrong with site-email and message not sending

SCAM ALERT!!! After attempting to find a provider everytime i tried to contat one i was rold i had to sign up for premium to contact the provider. Every one in my area required premium. So i decided i would pay for a month and try it. They charged me 155.00 for an entire year, something i NEVER agreed to! I contacted care immediately as this was money for my autistic 3 year olds bday party, being a single mom with a disabled child. They rufused to refund the money. Unbelievable! FRAUD!

Such regret. Sign up is easy, of course. You cannot cancel if you have basic membership...you have to upgrade to cancel. If you can't find the hidden way to cancel, they will charge you on a recurring basis. The phone number for member care refers you to online help and hangs up on you. I would have rated 0 stars, but this app wouldn't let me.

I have been played in the worst way, Care.com you have played with the last person, how dare you not close my my account and continue to take money and not allow me to delete a service that I don’t use nor do I want you should be ashamed of yourself taking peoples money. why can’t I delete my account? Why are you stealing my money why?

My question is WHY are people still paying this worthless platform. When there are so many other way better platforms that are FREE. I would NEVER pay a ripoff SCAM company like care.con to apply for jobs. When the company was sold it became GREEDY and HORRIBLE with so many stupid rules! Closed my account immediately when asked to provide my social security number Signed up for FREE with Sittercity and couldn’t be HAPPIER! People don’t give this scam company your hard earned money! Hopefully care.com goes bankrupt and closed PERMANENTLY

This is the 2nd time i gave this website a chance. I have hired 3 sitters this time who never showed when they agreed to meet and never responded to my messages after saying they wanted the job. The last time I tried this site I had 2 sitters blow me off. Then this site refused to refund me... Why should I pay for services that I never received?? Reply: I already contacted your company and you refused to refund me.

UPDATE. Thanks for replying to my review. I understand that you are a market place. I have been registered for other apps in other places, these apps help to set standards of service like timings, and fees per hour that are fair. If your app doesn't do that, then don't say that you "care" for families and sitters, you are only the middle man. When I moved to Dallas Tx., I thought I would offer babysitting services at the Care app that was well advertised on TV. The first problem is that you are unable to assess the market because you cannot have a view of the daily demand, the fees per hour or the family's requirements, unless you pay first a subscription. You need to register first and pay a fee even before you earn any money. Ok, new place, new rules, so I paid the fee only to find out that the jobs offered were limited (I got messages with the same jobs offered over and over), so I was disappointed. Even worse than that, was that the fees are not regulated, and the families are expecting you to do the following: *take care of the children, *prepare the meals, *drive the children to school *pick them up in your car, *feed them the meals that you had prepared, *help with homework and last but not least, *do the kitchen cleaning??. Excuse me! Families needed a nanny, a cleaner, a cook, a chauffeur and if you have experience SEN better, all of these for 10/15 dlls per hour!. OMG Needless to say that once you have seen the official explotation of the nannies and/or babysitters tthrough the CARE app, you are unable to cancel or ask for your money back. You can cancel but no refunds are given to the jobless nannies or babysitters. No person to talk or complain. Really bad experience. I have worked in other countries as well and Care is by far the worse app to register for a freelance job on the childcare services.
