This company is basically a scam. They cherry-picked their own reviews and and will keep billing you even after you've canceled. The website makes all sorts of big promises of which they take no responsibility whatsoever and do nothing whatsoever, except to renew your membership automatically and say you cannot have your money back. Stay far away from this site. BTW, I did contact the company a couple of times and they were completely useless So pay no attention to the meaningless response they did to this review.

Site is rubbish, got absolutely zero candidates worth engaging with. Forgot to cancel before the month was out and charged another $45 to my account. Cancelled & requested refund for the second charge and was refused. Dont waste your money on this garbage site.

Charged 18.99 3 times when it should have been only 1 charge of 18.99. No customer service, can only chat with a robot who keeps telling me the other charges are just bank holds but they are no longer pending charges and it’s been over a week and they are not removed. They basically steal your money. Stay far away!!! Triple charging their annual fee hoping people don’t catch it.

They will show u a list of tutors in the area but to reach them u have to pay for membership. After paying, i messaged a lot of them and none responded. I paid for nothing and refused to refund. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEM!

If I could give Care.com a negative review - I would. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. I bought a monthly subscription with a huge price tag expecting to find a few nannies in my area- I found 5, only 3 of which looked even remotely suitable for childcare. and Im not even sure these were real accounts. I messaged all 3 hoping desperately that this wasnt a scam and that I had wasted my money - and I received no messages back. I waited weeks. Not only did I not find nannies in my area using this website, but wasted my money and time. I then reached out to their customer service about this and got a 'sorry, but our policy is our policy' and mid-conversation on their chat they said: 'Unfortunately, I'm going to have to end this chat so I can escalate the case for you. We appreciate your understanding. Someone will follow up with you soon.' and I havent heard from them since. An absolute scam - how are they still in business?

Poor customer service, almost no way to connect with them other than a live chat, and they don’t notify of new company charges they decide to add- and if they make a charge and you’re not using the service- they don’t refund.

Terrible interface; limited search filters; automated messages from those that do not fit my job post.

I have been with Care.com for awhile never had any issues. I have got to take care of some amazing people whose families reached out to me. People think this site is a scam or fraud it is not. As a caregiver some of us here really enjoy what we do and making a difference in another persons life. I treat my clients with the utmost care and consideration. Every client is different and has different personalities and needs. So thanks Care.com
