This service is awful! They don’t track their providers. The app is always messed up and the people to select from is worse than they are!! Avoid!!

Ive been a caregiver for over 20 years had great reviews from some of my clients on care.com then I helped a bitter old woman that was hard to handle so I quit working for her then she wrote a review making false claims about me. I contacted care.com about the review and they told me to contact the client so I did I wrote saying I dont know why you would write a false review about me I did my job as required and for her to removed the false claim she put down as my review. I am now removed from my account for so called breaking the rules no reason just blocked I had 3 postive reviews and 1 false review and now blocked????

The #1 reason we work is to get paid. I haven't been paid for work I did 6 months ago and care.com support has been completely unhelpful in getting it resolved. I know the client paid them, care.com claims it was deposited to my bank, but my bank (my credit union for 30 years) did not receive the deposit. I've used care.com sporadically for about 10 years. This is the first time I've had an issue but it seems a big one to me. And it's next to impossible to reach someone at care.com who will even try to help. No support phone #, "do not reply" emails, etc. I think the clients get better support, but the providers don't. Also, it used to be free to sign up as a care provider but now you have to pay an annual fee for a "background check" (used to be optional) in addition to the 10% cut they take from your pay. Lastly, both their website and their app are a pain to navigate. Not intuitive. I still use them for new clients, but it's mostly inertia - I should look into their competition, and so should you if you're looking to do the same kind of work.

I sent over a dozen contacts for a house cleaner. Only one person answered me back and actually came to my house. That person never showed up again after cleaning one time I got no response from any of the others I contacted.

I’m not a fan of Care.com. The monthly billing was difficult to cancel and the terms were unclear. The app has technical issues, my messages stopped working, and it matches me with jobs I’ve declined multiple times.
