Was working with Amy, told her that I wanted to go with her and she told me that she would be willing. Then she just stopped responding and left me in a bind because I was counting on her doing the work.

Too often the care givers who list their services on Care.com do not check for their messages frequently enough and do not respond in a timely manner to else they are not courteous and just ignore any inquiry they are not interested in pursuing leaving customers hanging in the wind. Very frustrating! These care giver people for the most part are not on top of their business. Care.com needs to have a mandatory 24 hour reply requirement to customer inquiries, or the care giver gets deleted from Care.com for their irresponsible attitudes to inquires they receive. Going to be easier for me to use a local care giver company like Visiting Angels than it is to use Care.com. Your care giver listings are dragging your Care.com business down. Just saying.

I was hired by someone that went through care.com. CARE charged the credit card of the person who hired me the amount I was to get paid plus CARE'S commission. That's all normal and to be expected. However, CARE won't pay me what I earned on this job. They scammed my employer and they scammed me. They kept it all!

The actual service is fine. But both the app and desktop site are slow and glitchy at times. Also the app is surprisingly clunky. For example we’re not able to “heart” applicants from the profile page which would make more sense bc that’s where we learn more about the applicant and make the decision to favorite them or not.

On 6/20/24, I attempted to set up an account on Care.com. I put the quarterly payment on my credit card and proceeded to look for a care giver. I got so upset with the online system that I cancelled the membership no more than 2 hours after signing When I checked, Care had already processed my payment of $74.85. When I cancelled, I thought I would be credited back $74.85. Shut me out of the program, I don’t care! Just refund the payment! Thank you!
