I have been a premium member of Care.com for a few years and I'm very satisfied with my customer service experiences. My most recent customer service need was answered and resolved promptly within 24 hours and although it was via email, the results were very satisfactory.

Paid for monthly subscription, got no responses to probably close to 40 applications. Refused to accept a photo no matter how many I tried. I think a lot of the jobs are phantom and made up to make it look busier than it is.

Horrible company! I paid $40 for a month's subscription and $20 for background checks, one day later they canceled my account and said I violated their guidelines but I didn't do or say anything wrong at all! They won't even tell you why! I really need to find help caring for my mother and this was my last resort. Now all I've done is waist money and didn't even have a chance to get the one person's info that was interested. They won't refund my money and have no customer service phone number to call! You can only chat with someone and they don't care about what your saying at all. They basically just told me we don't give refunds bye!

I had numerous people apply but none show up for the interview. Even more frustrating is the people that I set up interview with did not contact me at the scheduled time or simply forgot. My experience with this website has been overall frustrating. Thankfully I did find someone that was reliable that showed up on time and that was hired for the job I posted. I will not be using Care.com again.

If all of your workers are as thorough as Heidi You have a great company. Heidi and I hit it off right away. I have had 2 other cleaners and I feel bad Heidi has had to clean what they did not. Heidi cleans like I was able to. God Bless her.

I went to hire a caregiver for my parents who live in rural Missouri. I found two caregivers who listed in their profiles that they were available. I contacted the first one and she said she took another job BUT she knew of someone we could hire (who was NOT listed on Care.com). Not interested...next!! The second caregiver was not interested in driving the windy roads to get to my parents house. They live 30 minutes away from a main town. All other caregivers lived 50+ minutes away. I could see lots of problems with caregivers living so far away and the winter months ahead. I wanted to get my money back and was unable to do so. We paid for ONE YEAR of service and found out quickly within FIVE hours that this wasn't going to work for us. I tried looking for a phone number....couldn't find one. Tried looking everywhere to see if I can speak with someone....only able to email. So I did and then I was notified about their NO REFUND POLICY. That's CRAZY!!! Whatever happened to good customer service? What ever happened to the customer has three business days to change their mind? CRAZY BAD SERVICE!! What a waste of $124!! SUPER DISAPPOINTED!!! Not only did we deal with a caregiver that forgot to update her file....we are dealing with a company that no matter what has a NO REFUND POLICY. Customer Beware!! If you choose to communicate with a caregiver, I would highly encourage you to pay for the minimum cost in case your situation doesn't work out like ours.
