I have been a member with Care.com over the last 7 years. I have had good experiences in general with families. The only thing is that since I was on and off from being a member I lost my reviews and everything I worked for to build my profile. The reviews were not saved after I stopped paying for my membership and when I wanted to restart paying I had to start from scratch. This should be improved.

There is a varied selection of caregivers, which makes it easier to select one who most fits your needs. We found a wonderful person who is a perfect "friend" for our elderly cousin.

Care.com made it easy for us to find care for our child. The site made communication and searching very easy.

This is A SCAM!!!! I had to pay them for a full subscription, then immediately they started requesting access to all my phone systems. The Chatbot is the only form if contacting them and they refuse to assist with any of these issues. Additionally will not refu d my money despite NOT allowing me access. This is theft!

I’ve used care.com for years . First as an employer searching for dog care , then a companion for mom . Now the last few years for a PT position for myself , with elder or child care . I always had much success . However their site has changed a bit , as all do over the years . I have now responded to 102 positions and only 19 have been read! Many that I apply too are recently posted - so why is my response not even being read !! Let me mention that my bio is excellent having been a professional for 30+ years, and I have several photos and many wonderful reviews from past employers on my profile as well . I have called care.com numerous times , as well as several emails . All they can tell me is - my account is active and fine and that people post jobs before they pay a subscription fee. If they don’t pay the subscription fee they cannot read any applicants that are applying . Ok I get that however - 102 applications I’ve sent and only 19 possible employers even read them . That’s absurd! Something is not right and I’d like to finally find out what it is ? I do want to add that their site is easy to navigate , they do have a phone # for customer service and I have found several positions thru their site so I will continue to use care.com .
